I stopped here for gas and left with three unanswered questions, a hot dog that fought back, and a new understanding of mortality.
The parking lot felt like a side quest you accidentally triggered at 2:47 a.m. One pump was crying (emotionally), another one spoke only Spanish even though the buttons were in hieroglyphics, and Pump #4 kept asking me if I was “ready.” Ready for WHAT, David??
Inside, the lights were so bright I aged six years instantly. The cashier—who I’m convinced has worked there since the Nixon administration—rang me up without blinking and said “have a good one” before I even placed my items on the counter. Advanced customer service. Psychic. Dangerous.
The hot food section deserves a Pulitzer. The roller grill items looked like they’d been spinning since the Cold War, yet somehow tasted…comforting? The taquitos whispered “don’t ask questions” and honestly, I respected the boundary.
The bathroom key was attached to an object that may have once been a lacrosse stick. The bathroom itself smelled like regret and blue cleaner, which I assume is the official gas station cologne. The mirror showed me things about myself I wasn’t ready to confront.
I bought a energy drink called something like “THUNDER RAGE PUNCH XTREME: BERRY” with a wolf on it wearing night vision goggles. Drank it. Saw sounds. Heard colors. Forgave my enemies.
Would I come back? Absolutely.
Did I leave a piece of my soul there? Possibly.
Do they sell windshield washer fluid, bait, phone chargers, and vibes? Unquestionably.
This place isn’t a gas station.

“Wonderful customer service! I called worried because our regular propane company didn't have any propane left to sell for the year. So I was left with either paying a super high price when they did get propane again or find another company. The ladies that answered the phone were very nice & answered all my questions. I am looking forward to working with them!”

“Got pizza around 4:00 p.m. Saturday, was in and out pretty fast my pizzas fresh out of the oven. There was also more staff and better stocked items than has been in a while, so I'm happy to see this location improving.”

“Definitely not as fancy as a lot of the Trex I've been to but as far as other options it is by far the best around. They have food and drinks. They don't have any hot food. But they're a little microwave is a unit and heat things up faster than you could imagine”
