“This is my favorite store. I wish they had more volunteers to be open everyday but I know the volunteers who work there work very hard. They have nice items, wonderful service, and great prices! They earn money to help people in need; I have been one of those people. Sometimes I just like to go in and look around because of the friendly atmosphere. I also like the music they play in the store.”

“I really like shopping at Dollar general. I really feel sorry for the people that work there though. They don't have enough help. Like everyone else right now. I really wish their Wi-Fi worked better as the internet's very hard to get there. Also. The shelf check outs do not allow paper coupons which is really ridiculous. And some won't even allow paper coupons at all. I gave the good score solely for the people that work at Dollar general.”

“Five Below is the perfect place to go if you want to feel like a millionaire. You can buy five items for five dollars, which means you can buy 100 items for 100 dollars! It’s like a shopping spree without the guilt of overspending. The only downside is that you will overspend and you might end up with 100 items you don’t need, but hey, at least you’ll have a lot of stuff to donate to charity.Edit:It has been brought to my attention again and again that I didn’t mention the Beyond section. That’s because I’ve never been in that section. I would advise you to stay away from it as well. I mean if you plan on sending your kids to college. If not, then please, I encourage you cross into the beyond. Make sure to document your journey. No, not for posterity. But instead so the rest of us commoners know what it’s like to live in the 1%.”

“Me and my daughter came in to just look around, and winded up getting a recliner. Two employees were nice enough to take it apart and help us fit it in the back seat of my car. They definitely went over and beyond to make sure we left happy. Definitely will be returning.”

“I very much encourage all kinds of people to shop here, it's much cheaper than Walmart and Schnucks plus you don't have to go walking throughout the whole store looking for everything. It has every thing from school journals to dog food”

“This is a new Dollar General in my area, and while it admittedly didn't have everything in stock that I was looking for, it was well stocked and clean and bright and pleasant. The employees were friendly and helpful.”

“Very cool employees despite the fact there's obvious issues with these stores understaffing, which only leads to high attrition, product not being merchandised properly And sold ...ultimately causing poor customer reviews and loyalty. The sad fact is in a lot of places, these stores are often the only store for miles ...with their , sometimes inadequate.”

“Helpful staff, will show you where what you are looking for instead of just pointing as long as they aren't running the register with people in line and if they are stocking they will every time. The dollar general company it's self needs to always have 2 people working at all times, they shouldn't expect 1 employee to run the register and check people out. I've seen customer's be rude to the employee when they are finally notified, even though the employee can't see thru shelves and the customer could go find the employee instead of being lazy and getting angry with the employee. Dollar General, you can not say you don't make enough money to have at least 2 people working at the same time and expect 1 to stock and run the register. STOP BEING CHEAP AND TREAT YOUR EMPLOYEES LIKE YOU WANT TO BE TREATED. I'm not stupid and neither are any of your customers, we know that there's a lot more working at your headquarters. If you are going to do this to store employees the there is no reason for more than one person doing anything at the corporate office, and the people that really think they are important, i.e. the president, c.e.o, c.o.o., definitely don't need executive assistants, you are not that important or busy that you need someone to do the things they feel are beneath them. If you want to be this cheap that gets your employees yelled at quite often then you need to cut at the corporate level also, y'all are not more important than any of your employees, everyone is replaceable and that includes you, so you aren't anymore important than any other employee or anyone else on this planet, you are not special.”
