Museum volunteer Raedene was extraordinarily helpful in finding the files of articles on my grandparents and father's family. While I read, my husband strolled around enjoying the in-depth history on display....an amazing collection! Thank you for the help learning about my father's family and visiting the cemetery.

Although this gem is closed for the winter, we dropped by to walk the interesting grounds. Some volunteers were working inside, saw us, and let us have a private tour. Talk about small town hospitality!!!This little museum has treasures we have never seen in other museums. In our short visit, we learned local facts, viewed eclectic displays, and shopped their most unique gift shop. What an unexpected delight this adventure was. Such kind and dedicated people taking care of this area's history! Thank you ever so much!!!

Beautiful little museum full of interesting artifacts from the Paleolithic Era to modern mining. Well worth the stop off of the interstate for a break from the road! The staff is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Most have lived in the area and have hand knowledge of the life represented in the museum!
