Leah was very personable, and very professional in how she dealt with me and my vehicle. This kind of business connection is very positive for me.

Disappointed. Every visit is a minimum of 2 hours even with an appointment, the most recent visit had fox News on in the lobby that repeatedly showed someone being murdered on the subway, which is not ideal for my none year old daughter that accompanied me to be exposed to, I also requested they look into why my front camera was in calibration node after my husband drove my car to Sioux falls, I was met with a response at the end that said the tech wouldn't have noticed the error message, even though it is an alert that pops up over the speedometer and the vehicle settings me if they reset the oil life in, not to mention I had specifically requested this to be looked at. When I asked what the base price would be for a visit to trouble shoot this no one working could give me a number. I do not think I will return to the only Mazda dealership in town to service my vehicle.

Had a great first experience with Bob Smith service when I took my car there for warranty work in earlier this year, but my second time there was a huge disappointment.
I live in Livingston, and was told by a local repair shop I needed to have my brakes done; they couldn’t do it because they couldn’t get the parts. I scheduled an appointment with Bob Smith for 10:00am on 8/12, a day when my folks would be in Billings and could save me from sitting in the dealership while the work was done.
I drove 1.5 hours to Billings, parked my car out front, checked in with the service department, waited an hour until my folks got into town, told the service department I was leaving and to call me if they needed anything, and left. At around 4:15pm, I was driving across town to go pick up my parents from an appointment, and my route took me by Bob Smiths; I noticed that my car was still parked out front, exactly where I dropped it off (immediately suspecting that they’d forgotten about it). I hadn’t heard anything from Bob Smith all day, so I called them.
They sounded a bit confused, asked me the color of my car, and told me they’d call me back. A little while later, I got a call telling me “they’d need a little more time.” A little more time meant until the end of the day the next day. I let them know that unless they’d be able to drive my car back to Livingston the next day, I couldn’t make that work. They declined, so I swung by to pick up my car.
Picking my car up was pretty awkward, and all anyone said was basically “we’re sorry, have a nice day.” About 30 minutes later, when I was on my way home and had made it out of town, I got a call saying that they could, in fact, drop my car off in Livingston the next day if I brought it back in. I declined for various reasons. The woman who called apologized profusely, and said she’d call me first thing in the morning to “make things right.” Perhaps needless to say, in the almost two months since then, I never got a call.
Although it was super inconvenient to drive all the way to Billings for repair work that never happened (not to mention the $ in gas, and time “wasted”), I understand that mistakes happen. That said, there were numerous opportunities for Bob Smith to make this situation less bad, and it really felt like they didn’t even try.

Matt was very friendly and professional.
He made looking at and getting my new car very easy. He even put in the extra effort to give my car another quick wash and retapped one of the license plate holes.
Matt is easy to work with and made car shopping a breeze, I highly recommend him.

My car is driving great now. The Service Department did a great job. I did have a little problem with communications...thus the 4 star rating. I am certain that has been addressed. I am definitely going back to Bob Smith for service!

Barbara at Bob Smith Motors was a huge help and really great to work with. Going into a dealership to get work done on your car can sometimes feel like a gamble — you never know if you’re getting the full story. But with Barbara, I felt like I was getting honest answers and that the work being done was truly needed. I really appreciated how straightforward and helpful she was throughout the whole process.
