“Upon arrival we were greeted by Nicole, she was beyond helpful and super friendly! She helped wheel my cart down to our room while I wrangled my one and a half year old.
She was all smiles and pleased to help! We would DEFINITELY stay here again.
Super clean, breakfast was good!”

“We had a pretty decent experience here. The room was very clean and spacious, and the breakfast was very good with a lot of options. However, our room was very hot (75 degrees), yet we stayed here in the winter, Dec 31 - Jan 3. We had to run the air conditioner, and it was very loud and rattly. We ended up needing to stick something under the a/c to reduce rattling and be able to sleep. Parking is $12 a day, which seems overpriced for a lot outside. Finally, the bathroom door is right in front of the bed, which makes it very difficult to use the restroom in the middle of the night without waking your partner up.”

“I have nothing to say but positive things here. Adrianna and Audrey checked me in and they were very friendly. They suggested places to go which was nice. the breakfast/cafe is so quaint, the reception area, the central area with sign, fireplace and pool (unfortunately it was closed). They had 4 pink bikes which need a bit of TLC but it was so warm that we used them to get around which was handy. the rooms are small but all these attention to details. Notes in the rooms, cards, a record player, a nice washroom with a heating plate, a crystal that is local to the area, and a free glass of champagne! Would 100% go back.”

“A great boutique hotel with a strong local identity and a very memorable guest experience. The design feels modern while still connected to the Montana atmosphere, which creates a much stronger emotional connection for travelers. Hotels like this perform especially well when their visual storytelling matches the in-person experience. Excellent branding and a very smart hospitality concept.”
“The Gran Tree is a great place to stay when there isn't a MSU home FB game as they raise their room rates ridiculously high, but in all fairness, appears the other local hotels do the same. (Greed just sucks) i am glad they are starting to update the hotel roons as they are a bit aged. The front desk staff was amazing at our stay in April, kudos to those gals.
We will be back more in the future and will be fun to see the uodates/changes.”
“I hosted an event at the Baxter back in May and it was a total hit! Grace did a great job lining everything up and making sure things went off without a hitch. I look forward to hosting our next event there!”
“Biggest concern: the side entrance door was never locked, which felt unsafe—especially since my room was right next to it.
Breakfast was disappointing. The Canadian bacon was floating in hot water, and the rest of the options were mostly unhealthy or unsuitable for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies.
Room was clean. Bed was okay, not the most comfortable but manageable.
Overall, basic stay but safety and breakfast need serious improvement.”
“Steven Woods the front end manager is honestly the true definition of customer service. He put in so much time, effort, and endless calls helping me. Steven made sure my issue was resolved. He truly is phenomenal at his job, and his customer service is one that every business needs. Steven Woods helped me to get my Hilton points back when an error occurred. I truly can’t say enough about the time and effort he put in until everything was handled. Thank you again Steven for going above and beyond my expectations. I appreciate everything you did.Bot only are you an exceptional employee, but your kindness is appreciated. Thank you again for everything.”
“My employer booked this hotel for me for a business trip. I had an excellent experience overall and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this place. The free breakfast had a decent variety and was enjoyable, and I appreciated that I could get coffee or tea from the lobby at any time of day. My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet.
If you’re in Bozeman for skiing, the bus to Big Sky resort ($5 cash each way) is conveniently located in the Wal-Mart parking lot adjacent to the hotel. Having the Wal-Mart next door, as well as a couple of dining and convenience store options nearby, makes this a good location for folks who may not be traveling with their vehicle.
I realized when I arrived home that I had left an important item in my room. The night auditor was extremely kind and helpful, as well as the manager and front desk worker I spoke with the next morning to get it shipped back to me. I don’t have much experience with Choice Hotels but would be happy to stay here again.”

“I enjoyed my stay. Jen thank you for being remarkable you are ideal when it comes to treatment. The breakfast was tasty, be creative! I put butter and a pinch of salt on the eggs soo soo good, the pancake batter has the best sweet flavor along with the blueberry syrup. I love the indoor pool slide and the antique real feel. The staff are down to earth, I would recommend”

“I probably shouldn't even write a review for this place because the cat will be out of the bag. Wonderful staff, clean rooms, close to everything, affordable price, pets stay free. I paid $130 in Rochester, NY at a Motel6 and the place was terrible. I paid $60 here at Motel6 at Bozeman for a 10x better experience.”
“We couldn’t have been more happy with this motel. Lisa was so accommodating. Our flights were so terribly delayed, but she was there at an ungodly hour to check us in. After a horrible day of travel, her kindness was so appreciated. Make sure to take advantage of breakfast and the pool area. Top rate.”
