“So we were on a long road trip and the truck was saying we needed an oil change at 5,000 miles even though most synthetic is rated for 10,000 miles. The owner's manual made it sound like the truck was smart enough to know exactly what the condition of the oil was so we needed some professional input to know whether it was worth taking the truck camper off the back and the motorcycle carrier off the front to even get it in the garage for an oil change. Reliance Automotive was awesome to take 5 minutes out of their already scheduled work to let me know that we were fine to wait until we got home to get the oil changed. Thanks so much we greatly appreciate your professional and honest input getting us back on the road!”

“Sean knows his stuff. When I bought an 08 sti, I hadn’t done enough research and seller was dishonest about what engine it had saying it was a “Japanese sti engine”. Ended up with a EJ20X with avcs issues instead of an EJ207 like advertised. But Sean fixed up the original swap and when some things didn’t go as planned Sean went above and beyond to make it right. Highly recommend.”

We feel middle ground about our experience at s&s. We had a 2012 Suzuki with front damage. In our area, it's very difficult to come by the Suzuki parts. So we agreed to get used parts so our vehicle would not need to be totaled because of the cost of all new Suzuki parts. It took nine months total. 2 months in the shop off and on. Would have been nice the one month the Suzuki was not being worked on if s&s would have notified us. So I could have had our vehicle for that month. They gave us a gift card for $100 to the local grocery store. It was really nice of them. Anyways overall was an okay experience. If a Suzuki, just total it instead of waiting on (new or used) parts to arrive at the autobody shop. Thanks.”
“Carfax asked me to write a review of my recent service and I decided to extend my review. I've been using Rods Auto for over 8 years! I will not go anywhere else! Even if it means I have to wait a week or more to get my car in..during busy season. They are always straight forward and honest. They don't try and nickel and dime you to death or lie about other services that need done. Have heard horror stories from people over the years how there are those auto shops that are dishonest. They don't push anything on you unless it's needed or they recommend it. They are fast and efficient as well. Many times Ive had my car dropped off the night before for servicing in the A.M and have received a call before noon that my car is ready for pickup! Have always left a satisfied happy customer! Never have I had to take my vehicle back due to them not fixing or handling the problem properly the first time! My parents use Rods as well, and between 2 people they own 4 vehicles.
And my dad never once has had a negative thing to say. Highly recommend!”
