Our spoiled, but precious Yorkie, Archer, became extremely sick very fast with some kind of stomach infection that was causing pain and extreme discomfort. My wife and I have relied on the fine people at Ponderosa many times over the years, it was obvious that Archer was dying. We were devastated and deeply afraid that we were going to loose him. The Doctor gave Archer full attention over several days. She stayed after hours to perform a surgical procedure that would absolutely prevent him from death. Her and her staff’s response and dedication was above and beyond compassionate, it was miraculous.
My wife Sherri and I sincerely appreciate their impressive skills and professionalism. We are delighted to recommend Ponderosa Clinic.

KalispellWe just had the heart ripping experience of putting our 20 year old cat to sleep. The doctor was empathetic after showing up to our house. He took his time to explain what would happen and gave the family time to grieve through the process. Most importantly, he was careful to treat our cat like a family member and ensured he was comfortable to the end. We can't recommend him enough for when the time comes for something so horrible. They have ALWAYS taken the absolutely best care of my pets over the years. More than 20 in a less than 10 years. They will also send cards to you after your beloved friend has passed and they treat them with such respect and love.
My current dog, a bulldog with many allergies, they are always making sure she is doing well is her medications and doing everything within your ability to keep her healthy, safe, and happy while always offering me many option that are budget friendly.
The staff are my absolute favorite though. We love going there for all the attention and love we receive. We are always treated at someone special and not just another face in the crowd.

From the moment we walked through the door, the entire staff was welcoming, compassionate, and genuinely cared about my sons Guinea pig. The ladies that weighed and asked all the questions before the veterinarian came in were so very kind and loving towards Howie. The veterinarian took the time to thoroughly explain everything and answer all of my questions. This is our new vet even though we live out of town. We will make the trip anytime for our animals to be taken care of the way they took care of Howie.

The Dog Club
111 West Idaho Street, KalispellWe were staying in Kalispell in a hotel and we could not leave our dog unattended. We normally take her with us but had 2 activities planned in GNP and would not be able to take her. I contacted The Dog Club and specified our needs and provided her vaccination records and booked her for 2 days. When we dropped her off she went right in and wasn’t hesitant. The facility was well laid out with the different play rooms and the staff was really friendly and welcoming. We felt comfortable leaving her. When we picked her up she seemed happy. During the course of the day I got to see her on a web cam. They sent a report card with pictures at the end of the day. We had a good experience with the Dog Club and would recommend it to other visitors needing day care or boarding for their dog.

Copilot Coffee
1745 Airport Road, KalispellBeen a regular at Copilot since 2020 and it's my go-to drive-through in the valley. A few things that keep me coming back:
The staff consistency is unusually good for a drive-through hut — you start seeing the same faces, and occasionally they remember your name. That alone sets it apart from most competitors.
The espresso drinks are solid across the board. Chai lattes are balanced and not overly sweet, vanilla lattes hold their temperature well, and Americanos are clean. No drip coffee if that's your thing — Americano is your best bet there.
The breakfast burritos are a genuine differentiator. Most drive-throughs in the area have pastries at best. Copilot's burritos are protein-forward, not heavy, and still have melt in the cheese by the time you get home. Food is priced a little higher than I'd like for a grab-and-go item, but it's the best food option at a drive-through hut in this part of the valley.
Location is tucked away near the Kalispell City Airport, so it doesn't get as backed up as the huts on busier roads. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
