Fontenelle Forest is a beautiful and gorgeous place to walk, with fantastic views and an incredible view into Iowa. It is a gem with nearly 2,000 acres of forest, prairie, and wetlands to explore. Visitors can spend hours hiking on the wonderful boardwalk and many trails, often with plenty of shade. The interesting raptor section is amazing, featuring beautiful creatures. For the adventurous, the TreeRush Adventure zip line park looks super fun. The place is almost never crowded and provides a quiet wild experience. There is handicapped parking, and the staff is helpful and nice. The restrooms are clean, and the gift shop has a nice selection. It is recommended to bring water and bug spray.
Wonderful time here with family of all ages and abilities. Highlight is the rehab sanctuary for raptors with plenty of shade while walking the trails.

Pretty diverse what they got for you here. Had tons of fun for my first time going. Staff are super helpful and want to be there attitude witch is always nice to see. The courses range from easy, medium and hard they have one for everybody. The equipment was super safe as was the course. super safe
