“It is my understanding that the Bullet Hole changed ownership in January 2024. I contracted with the previous owner in July 2023 to sell a gun on consignment. I last spoke to the previous owner about the consignment in October 2023 and was told that the gun was on a "layaway" sale arrangement with an interested customer and that I would be contacted when the sale was completed to receive my agreed-upon share of the sale proceeds. I heard no more from the previous owner and was unaware of the sale of the business. Today, March 15, 2024, I went to the Bullet Hole to ask about the progress on the sale and when it would reach completion. That is when I was told about the change in ownership. The person who assisted me was unaware of the consignment sale arrangement but was very cooperative and helpful when I showed him my paperwork. It appears that the previous owner must have completed the sale (for the gun was not in stock) but never notified me or the new owner. The new owner chose to accept responsibility for the funds that were owed to me and paid me immediately, even adding a $50.00 bonus over the amount I had agreed to in my contract with the previous owner as compensation for my trouble. This decision speaks well of the good will and ethics of the current ownership. In my opinion I received the highest level of customer service and left the Bullet Hole a happy and very satisfied customer. Thanks to new owner Stephen and his staff. I am truly grateful.”
