“Fabulous antique store. Prices are more than reasonable. The owner (...at least I suppose it was the owner), who rang up my purchases, was friendly and kind. Everything is organized beautifully and the music playing as you shop is an added plus to the entire experience. To top it off, they have a restroom that's kept nice and clean for you to use. Loved this place!”
“With a lot of the big name thrift stores having lost their way, it's a real treat to come across a place like Hand Me-Ups. Huge selection of everything from knickknacks to books to holiday decor. This local thrift store has it all. The workers are incredibly friendly and helpful. Their sales are fantastic. Plus best of all they are helping out a good cause instead of putting the money into a CEO's stuffed pockets. All of those reasons make Hand Me-Ups a must visit for thrifting in Omaha.”

“Stumbled across Abby's corner while visiting the tea shop next door and super glad I did! They have a wide variety of sizes for clothing and everything is very reasonably priced! I got two pairs of Torrid brand jeans for under $14! My boyfriend got mens snow pants/overalls for under $10! Will definitely be telling my friends and family to check them out! Great place to shop if you're looking for quality on a budget!”

“A coworker of my husband's told him to go shopping here because he knew we were searching for some second-hand furniture for my mother to furnish her new apartment. We were able to find her four nice kitchen chairs and a really nice reclining chair all for $85, which we thought was a pretty darn good deal. I didn't have a lot of time to look around as they were getting ready to close but I want to go back another time to explore more.”

Sadly, Chloe passed in the last 1-2 years but he has never stopped caring about her and sells photos of her all the time. If you can, please buy one of the photos of Chloe. “Amazing thrift store if you shop at Goodwill or at other retail thrift stores this is the number one greatest thrift store, I had an experience that I was like eating security go to the men's section transgender by the way and I feel very comfortable and included others shopping on the women's nor the men's section so that makes me so happy!! I live at Leavenworth and it's really close by where I live and I get to go there like literally every weekend whenever I get paid!! 10/1000000 recommend going here ???️❤️”

“I love this thrift store. It's such a convenient location next to Walgreens and Dollar General. My favorite thing about this place is all of the stuff hung on the walls - sadly it's not for sale but it is some pretty cool stuff to see! They have a few true vintage sections that are always being updated. Also - this has to be one of the most reasonably priced thrifts in Omaha for clothing, shoes, houseware, etc.”

Here's the secret that is probably my favorite part about this particular store.................. The first Sunday of each month, all clothing and textiles are only $1.50!!! It used to be $1 but changed in October (boo). On these days, there are a quite a few more people that show up for the deals. The store itself is fairly clean and organized.”

“I went on Sunday with my daughter. We were traveling from Kansas visiting family and wanted to hit a goodwill while up here. We loved the way the clothes were organized by size then color in each area. The home decor was organized the same. Good condition furniture, and all priced better than garage sales! Wish we had the room to bring them home! Best of all, I found brand new scrub tops for 3.99 each! The employees were very friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be visiting again when we come up next!!!”
“I was eyeballing this super cute shelving unit for weeks, priced well above what I could afford - I asked if the price was negotiable, and they totally let me haggle down to a much more comfortable price! Needed a little TLC, but I’m still wildly pleased with my purchase!!The selection and arrangement can be a bit overwhelming - they have A LOT of inventory, genuine antiques and rarities. Lots of treasures if you take the time to look for them!”

“Loved that the racks up front have all the items on sale. Made it so much less overwhelming to look for items, at other stores I’ve just given up and leave because it’s too much to have to search the whole store, I ended up spending triple the amount of money I normally would even think about spending. The store itself was so organized I was quite surprised. The cashier was great but I didn’t get her name, she was very friendly and patient as I had so much in my cart. I appreciated her making conversation and being so personable. She let me know there would be an upcoming sale on the 19th and I will definitely be there after such a great experience.”

“The store is huge inside but was very impressed with how clean it was. The stock is pretty well rotated so when I go in weekly there always sends to be lots of new items to choose from. Definitely worth a visit plan on spending at least a half hour to an hour.”
