“Fabulous antique store. Prices are more than reasonable. The owner (...at least I suppose it was the owner), who rang up my purchases, was friendly and kind. Everything is organized beautifully and the music playing as you shop is an added plus to the entire experience. To top it off, they have a restroom that's kept nice and clean for you to use. Loved this place!”

“Joe is one of the nicest people alive, he is always willing to talk about anything. Sadly, Chloe passed in the last 1-2 years but he has never stopped caring about her and sells photos of her all the time. If you can, please buy one of the photos of Chloe. Come to this store whenever possible, it will be a great experience.”

“This is a nice little gem of a thrift to add to Omaha's thrift scene. Everyone is super nice & the prices are worth checking this place out! I wish I could go more often but I have found some hidden gems, both clothes and housewares here.”

“I was eyeballing this super cute shelving unit for weeks, priced well above what I could afford - I asked if the price was negotiable, and they totally let me haggle down to a much more comfortable price! Needed a little TLC, but I’m still wildly pleased with my purchase!!The selection and arrangement can be a bit overwhelming - they have A LOT of inventory, genuine antiques and rarities. Lots of treasures if you take the time to look for them!”

“My daughter and I love this shop. Volunteers are so friendly and they support a good cause. The ONLY negative is that they are not open every day but understandable. I took a friend from out of town there and she loved it too! Fun memories made there every time.”

“This thrift store had so many amazing, cute adorable things everywhere I looked. The clothing is mainly all women's but everything is ADORABLE! They also have a non profit organization next door that plan activities and support disabled adults ! I will definitely come back and check it out again”

“Clean, well organized displays. Very friendly staff. Looks like the kind of place someone, someday, will buy a $1.00 item that will end up being $5,000 on Antique Roadshow.”

“This is my favorite thrift store in Omaha to find clothes in! They have quite a large selection of women's clothes and probably the best/most fair pricing in the metro. I have found so many great pieces for myself and family members. I have always found the staff here to be kind and fair. Here's the secret that is probably my favorite part about this particular store.................. The first Sunday of each month, all clothing and textiles are only $1.50!!! It used to be $1 but changed in October (boo). On these days, there are a quite a few more people that show up for the deals. The store itself is fairly clean and organized.”

“Nice, clean thrift store with a welcoming atmosphere. They had an excellent selection of knickknacks, bed & bath, and housewares, as well as furniture. They had a nice variety of goods as well; I always love a good thrift store where I can find treasures or unexpected items, and this store was no exception.”

“Dan is the man!! I have never had such a great experience making a donation, this man has some serious entertainment skills, and was so kind and pleasant. Made me want to work there! Get him to do his siren sound (perfection)”

“Loved that the racks up front have all the items on sale. Made it so much less overwhelming to look for items, at other stores I’ve just given up and leave because it’s too much to have to search the whole store, I ended up spending triple the amount of money I normally would even think about spending. The store itself was so organized I was quite surprised. The cashier was great but I didn’t get her name, she was very friendly and patient as I had so much in my cart. I appreciated her making conversation and being so personable. She let me know there would be an upcoming sale on the 19th and I will definitely be there after such a great experience.”

“Solid selection of a wide variety of items. Huge DVD selection. Good thrift pricing all around. Some cool / refurbish-able furniture. Service was super friendly. Atmosphere was a little weak (warehousey) but overall a great experience.”

“Thrift World is great. There’s so much variety at such a great price. I love their tag color sales with one color being half off and the other color is 98 cents. Can’t beat that price! There are great finds there too from clocks to clothing. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this thrift store.(Also super happy that they accept returns within 7 days for in store credit as long as the tags are on. Makes me more confident in buying from them.)”

“In response to Susan Fraser's review, I'd like to explain that the proceeds from the thrift store are used to fund all of the Salvation Army's really great programs. So, while their prices might seem high to Susan, everyone should know that when you shop there you're helping to fund charitable causes and I see no issue that the prices reflect this. I do see where Susan is coming from and agree that prices at many thrift stores are higher than they should be. I believe this is due to the lack of clarity provided to the employees where pricing is concerned. I briefly worked at a thrift store myself and was just told to price items however I saw fit on my very first day of employment. However, items are still priced as a fraction of what they would cost to buy new and, as I said before, one should keep in mind where the money they spend there is going. Finally, I would like to point out that Susan wrote her review on the webpage for the treatment center and not the thrift store that's actually located across the street.”

“Very friendly staff! I come here often and I am always greeted immediately and treated with respect. A lot of retail stores and fast food chains could learn a thing or two about customer service from your team. The items are a bit overpriced but the atmosphere makes up for it.”

“I know the ladies who run this -they are usually busy, but their mission statement and the reason they run this shop are great. They really care about people. If I have a question, they always answer kindly. I will definitely keep donating to this place!!”

“Nate helped as the manager on duty. For me to underersrand the difference between g-bytes and good-will as separate stores. In my and all of my friends minds they were one and the same. Apparently not”

“Excellent Location for Bargain Hunting.I've been going to this Goodwill store for approximately 10 years. While the service levels are up and down (depending on who the manager is), overall I've been very impressed with the presentation of the inventory, the pricing, and the service levels.Even though Goodwill's leadership on the state level has been under a great deal of scrutiny in the last few years, this location is worth visiting if you're a bargain hunter looking for a good deal!”

“I love Goodwill. I am able to find old canning jars and lids, beding and clothing for the grandkids and myself. Household items can always be found. I believe the staff at all of the shops I go to do the best they can. I always get a smile when I walk in each store and I always say Hello!”

“Nice selection of thrift store items, but their prices are far too high. I would not donate items to them if they are marking them up so significantly. I do realize it is a charitable organization, but there are some prices on certain things that are even higher than purchasing the same product new.”

“We really enjoyed our experience here! We got some good help from Jay and another nice lady who I didn’t get to catch her name. They helped us move all the furniture we purchased into our car and they were both so friendly! The furniture here is really good quality and the prices seem to fit the quality. Highly recommend!”
