I applied for a used auto loan over the phone and never got a call back or an email about the loan. I called 3 times, left 2 voicemails, was put on hold for 30 minutes, was told somebody would call me back "today," 3 times, but never did get s call back. My credit score is great and my income is good enough for a payment 2 times the amount I would have paid monthly. The vehicle I chose went to somebody else because of this place. I don't appreciate being treated this way. I wonder how many others they've blown off like this?! I will take my business elsewhere, and tell everybody I know about my experience. This is bad business for any type of business.

I've been a loyal customer of LBFCU for years thanks to their Kasasa Checking Account that promises 5.5% APY if you hit 12 transactions/month.I've consistently hit that number, only to find out that LBFCU only counts a very few towards that transaction threshold.I've found it's a total scam to keep customers bank account balances high and every month to re-categorize credit transactions as "withdrawals", when they are categorically not.Don't be fooled. Find another bank that provides APY without having to hit transaction thresholds.

After taking out many loans at LFCU I just closed my savings account because they were taking out money for non active account. They stole $15 before I realized this was happening. I will be reevaluating where I take out my next loan. That’s some great customer service for such a good customer! Not!

Best place you all your financial needs! I have all my accounts and loans with them. The customer service is amazing and they are so friendly. They will explain things to you, if you don't understand. If you want to prequalify for a loan they will help you find the right one for you and let you know how to improve your credit. I would without a doubt recommended this credit union to everyone. I can even access my accounts anywhere in the country, so getting extra cash on vacation is so easy.

Stellar staff. Just closed a loan with Rhianna and she made it extremely easy to manage, both in understanding the minutia and also carefully explaining all of the terms. She never seemed rushed, bothered or flustered with my many questions. Exceptional authority on her industry.It doesn't surprise me that I had such a positive experience, as I am accustomed to the very best interactions every time. In the drive-up window, AJ has been a wonderful resource over the past couple of years as well. Highly recommend. Do not waste time at a big, faceless bank, do business here and get stellar interactions and service.

Always check your account regularly, they will steal your money through the back door. I opened an account at this bank for deposit only. I had money transferred to my account every month. I trusted them, so I never checked my account. They were sneaking in and taking money out unbeknownst to me. When I found out and questioned them, first they told me I had signed up for bill pay in the past. I never did. I asked them for proof, they couldn't come with it. Then--- wait for it---they couldn't refund my money because I should have known they were stealing the money, by checking my transactions, and should have asked for the refund sooner

If I could give less than 1 star I would. This is the most anti-customer service bank I have ever worked with. Hope you like waiting - sat on hold for over 20 minutes before I even got to speak to someone. I have spoke with several of my friends and have not heard one good thing about banking here. If you value your money and good customer service - bank somewhere else!

I've banked with Liberty First back when it was still Burlington Northern. Over the years it just seemed like the customer service is lacking. You do not feel like they care. They got so big and cooperate the small people don't matter anymore. I'm switching due to the fact they have no branches in West Lincoln, and their online bill pay system is so confusing. Just looking for a change.

After years of being a Wells Fargo customer I finally got fed up enough to leave them. I found myself banking here and so happy I made the switch! Staff are always helpful both in the branch & over the phone. No issues and I 'm thankful for that.

I have banked with Liberty First for a few years now. Got in a car accident and have asked for a loan. The guy helping me said he’d get back to me in the next few days. So i waited a week with no calls. I called and was expecting an update maybe but the guy hasn’t even started it yet after saying he would start it after his lunch break. I waited a WHOLE week AGAIN and he said “ope” and that he’ll check on it. I am writing this review “THREE” weeks into this now with no answer. May be time to start looking into another place peoples.. :/
