I spent $250 trying to tie my hair as I want it. My hair was mostly burnt orange the color was so different than what they told me. I went there and I told him that the color was different and it’s ruined my hair. My hair was healthy and it’s no longer healthy. I went there and ask for a different hair dyes and still it was not declared that they told me it’s gonna be. I do not recommend this. Don’t waste your money like me.

They had China Glaze nail polish on sale 2/$8. Regular price is about $8. I purchase 2. One of them was defective, and I went back to Sally's the next day with the receipt. I asked the cashier if I could make an even exchange. She said yes. I brought up a different nail polish. First, she insisted that she could not make a return without my phone number and email. Apparently receipts mean nothing here. I didn't want to give her my personal information just for a reurn, but fine, I obliged. Then, she told me I owed her $4. I said no, this is an even exchange. My receipt shows I purchased 2 for $8 the previous days. Again, she insisted I owed her $4. She brought out a woman whom I believe to be the shift manager. She also insisted I owed her $4 because that's "what the computer showed." Yes, I realize a single nail polish would ring up at $8, but a competent person would understand that I should not have to pay an additional $4. Be smarter than the register guys. I told her I just wanted to return the nail polish. She replied with, "you're only going to get back $4." Right. Because I only paid $4, as it was 2/$8. These people are inept. Do not shop here. You have been warned.

So coming into Sally's today, I was excepecting to gain some knowledge on what to do with my wild mane. The ladies in there were absolutely amazing. They guided me to get the Mielle hair products and a defrizzer oil. Shout out to Macali, Kaylee, and Janae. Definitely coming back to see these kind ladies! LIVING FOR THE ENERGY at N 27th!

Tried to exchange a nail product that I bought for my wife the day before (don't ask what it was because I don't pretend to understand any of it), in accordance with their "love it or return it" guarantee. At first I was told that they weren't taking any returns on open products and tried to cite covid as the reason. Not sure why this mattered as it want a product that could be resold anyways.Then, after calling another store to get a hold of a manager they said they actually could return it, but instead of doing a direct exchange for a similar product that was the same price and brand in a different color, they charged me the difference between the new product at full price and the old one that I used a reward to get a discount on.When I asked where the reward goes and why it just disappears they tried to name department stores that have similar policies. I personally worked for some of these stores and know for a fact that this is not true. When I told them as much they then tried to explain to me that two months ago I wouldn't have been able to return a product at all. When I told her that their failure to honor their own return policy two months prior literally had nothing to do with the current situation and asked why she would even bring up she cut me off and told me that it did have to do with it.I understand that they cannot do anything about a store policy, but in customer service the proper way to handle that situation is not to lie and bring up irrelevant points just to try to be right and feel good about yourself.I gave an extra star because my wife does like their products and normally a have a decent experience at their stores.

We were having a very rough day. It was the day before my daughters bday. She wanted me to fix her hair. We needed a color stripper before adding the new color. Target was out. It was 10 till closing but we were rt across the street. I call to tell them I am coming and not to lock the door. Automated system sucks, then it started ringing and no one picked up. We still attempt to make it. We park and run up and she locks the door right in front of us. Still 5 till. I stand there and bang on the door till she lets us in. I say I need 1 thing can I please grab it. There is a line of people still checking out. I ask her if she can grab me what I need when she was done. I told her Target was out and was told never to tell a professional that you use products from walmart or target. She seemed totally annoyed and rude about the whole thing, even though I apologized several times. When I was checked out it was 6:59. So she was still able to leave on time. I will go to a different location next time. For realz!!! To top it all off, the product she gave me the non professional turned my daughter pink hair to blue, then green then purple..all in the span of 30 minutes. I took photos of the whole ordeal. So it was added stress and time onto our already horrid day for a product who slightly changed the color it didn't even lighten it, just changed it to purple.
