“I just had the BEST experience shopping for shoes. I’ve recently been experiencing foot and ankle issues and was fitted with custom orthotics. (I know, sexy!)
I discovered I’m not able to put them in 90% of the shoes I currently own. I popped into Threads in downtown Lincoln a few weeks ago and was helped by the most wonderful staff member. They needed to order my specific size of Taos shoes.
I went in to pick them up today and was treated like a rock star! Because it was their anniversary, I got 20% off, a free Taos tote and a yummy candle! Plus, I got a bunch of raffle tickets for a prize drawing.
What a wonderful surprise and top quality shopping experience. I know that online shopping has gotten more and more popular, but I absolutely LOVE being able to try things on, talk to a shoe expert and experience human interaction.

“I have a love hate relationship with this place. It’s the best place for big boys to get clothes besides JCpenny. However, I hate going because there’s no music playing and you have to shop in the dead silence. The poor sweet woman that works there having to work all day in the silence, it should be considered a form of torture. For that reason, I always go to JCpenny first. But I’m giving 4 stars only for the nice woman. Give her and your customers some music.”

We were greeted the moment we walked in the door. They did proper foot measurements and took time to see her footwear was properly done.
They knew exactly what they had on hand in her size.

The lady behind the counter, I believe her name was Rebecca, was very friendly and greeted us with a smile when we came in and offered her help if we needed anything. She lived up to that but helping my child pick out the perfect shoe and finding the right size. My daughter was so excited that she couldn't wait to wear them. “I would've given them 5 stars but when I came to purchase those shoes and I ask for a size 10 in the shoe this young man told me that it only came in a 9 1/2 and that he knew because he checked this morning when he got to work so I asked another salesperson could she go check for me in the back and she brought the size 10 right out I wish I would've gotten her name because she was a big help and I really appreciate her helping me out so much.”

“I went to Emsud's Clothier today with my son who is getting married next month. We needed two suits, one for the groom and one for his dad. We walked into a very pleasant environment, were greeted at the door and immediately taken care of, both at the same time. We were in and out of there in about an hour for two suit fittings, shirts, shoes, belts, socks, the works. These are absolute pros who give you individual attention and the tailoring you need. The more we talked to the employees, we realized they were all family - husbands, wives, parents, siblings who run this business together. They all have their role, and work together as an amazing team to provide excellent customer service. Prices were very reasonable, and they know the quality and materials and what would be best for our event. Highly, highly recommend! Great experience today!”
