Was a customer over 30 years. When I cancelled my service they delayed my request for a week in order to charge me an extra month. Then threatened collection agency if I didn't pay. I am literally getting 60 times faster internet at half the price of Windstream now.

It is like pulling teeth to get through to anyone to request service. The computer hung up on me twice.They warned me that if I didn't confirm the service call through their system it would be cancelled. The first confirmation was a call that told me to press one to confirm two to move the appointment and three to cancel no matter how many times I pressed one it kept repeating the options until it hung up on me. So I had to call them to confirm. The second confirmation was a text that instructed to reply yes to confirm. I did and it told me my number wasn't associated with any accounts. So I had to call again to confirm.Once the effort of confirmation was over the tech was a dream and so helpful. To bad you can't just deal with the techs.If you are considering getting kinetic think hard and get allo instead.

Absolute worst experience with a business in my life. Their customer service is horrible. Their billing system is incompetent and horrendous. Their personnel are incompetent. I can't tell you how much time I wasted on the phone, being shuffled from person to person, to get their idiotic billing system straightened out. I can't get rid of this company fast enough.

Both Trey in Jamaica and Brandon at my house were great. Both were courteous, helpful and explained everything to me in great detail. Excellent experience. Brandon was speedy and obviously knew his stuff.

Worst service ever! Their internet is a joke... DSL isn't much better than dial-up. Canceled my service and went with something much faster and less expensive. Was told that they would send a return mailer so that I could return the internet modem... 3 weeks and several calls later... still waiting. Now they tell me that I need to drive into the Lincoln office to return their junk so I don't get billed for the worthless piece of equipment. This place is a joke... but nobody's laughing. My advice, go with any service that is NOT Kinetic or Windstream related!

Worst internet ever, dont ever get this service. We had this internet for 5 months now and it is a living nightmare. When trying to watch a movie it just disconnects and buffers. And don’t try calling the tech people all they are going to do is tell you to hold a button and there fixed which doesn’t even work. And they said they would send someone to come fix it they didn’t show up after telling us someone has to be there to let him in. And this keep continuing for 3 days! And when we put in help tickets they just get cancelled. DO NOT EVER GET THIS SERVICE!!!!

The Internet might’ve been good but they almost burned my house down so I’m going to hard pass on giving a good review. It might be different if they had done some thing about it but almost 4 hours on the phone and nine phone calls. I was transferred 12 times, and no one has responded after a week. The technician set up a router box which I did not request in a room with an electrical outlet that was two prong. This means there was nowhere for the ground to go. It was like a cartoon just forced into the wall incorrectly. My Son had told me the sparks flying out Of his wall. When I went to check it out for myself, I could not believe my eyes. Guess what they don’t have a customer service store here so if you need immediate help, good luck there is nowhere to go. They do have a call center however, but it is a secured building that you cannot enter under any circumstances. I guess you really do get what you pay for

Technician was helpful, informative, kind, detailed and very thorough! Thank you.This was my initial comment, and now you have really done me wrong and I've had to change your rating. I have tried to drop you since Saturday, it's Monday. You are billing me for high speed internet, nothing else. My download speed in 10.0 - Upload 0.6. That is not highspeed. You gave me a credit when my service was interrupted for 20 days, and the very next bill you upped my charges by 12 dollars. You suck. There is no regulation and you can do whatever you want by screwing over your loyal customers. I'm done.

Windstream customer since 2010. Decided to reduced high priced telephone, cable, internet package down to internet only. Was highly encouraged and sold on the fiber broadband internet 1 gig package. Drilled a hole in my house to complete the installation of this so-called wonderful internet service. Had nothing but issues since the day of installation Jan 23, 2024. Intermittent disconnection of service all times of the day, night including early early morning. Called and reported the issue on several different occasions. Sent a tech to my home on Feb 6, 2024. Soon as he left the issue returned and continues to this day. Called Windstream again Feb 20, 2024 requesting a Supervisor. No return call yet! Finally filed a complaint with BBB. Customer loyalty is NOT RECOGNIZED with Windstream. This is absolutely frustrating and ridiculous!

Have ordered new service to our new construction 3 times, and they've cancelled each time because their system says services aren't available at the new address. Well, no duh, it's a brand new house. The neighbors to our north and across the street both have service from Kinetic, yet for some reason they can't install a line for us?
