Baker's is a convenient local grocery store that many customers prefer for its accessibility and service. It is open seven days a week, including weekends, which is appreciated by shoppers who find other stores like Walgreens closed or crowded during those times. Its location on a bus line makes it easy for customers to visit without the need for a car. The store has recently been redesigned, offering a new layout that some find attractive, although it has fewer product varieties. Customers generally find the store clean and well-maintained, with products spread out across the space, making shopping easier. The store offers a decent selection of foods, allowing most shoppers to find what they need, but it does have some limitations, such as not selling rhubarb at all. During busy times, like the Sunday before Thanksgiving, the store can be crowded, with only a couple of checkout lanes open, leading some to prefer shopping elsewhere to avoid long lines. The pharmacy is a highlight, open every day, providing convenience. However, there are some concerns. Customers have noted that the store's speaker system can be painfully loud, sometimes causing headaches, and the store has been redesigned with a slightly reduced product variety. Staff performance at checkout and bagging has received mixed reviews, with some feeling employees are not always attentive or well-trained. Additionally, some customers feel uneasy seeing police presence in-store, and customer service can be slow, especially in the mornings. Despite these issues, Baker's remains a favored choice for many seeking a reliable grocery option in the area.
I started going to Baker's now since Walmart don't believe in Diversity & Equality - DEI. I will not shop at any place that don't believe in Diversity & Equality!

Don't bother calling the store. I was on hold for 15 minutes waiting in the cold to be let in . What an unprofessional way to operate a business.
