Im pretty frustrated and annoyed with this place. Their policies are stupid… and dumb… I loaded my trailer and missed the cut off time by 45 minutes to unload my load. I called the representative to see why I couldn’t unload my load… and she said they closed 45 minutes ago. I thought this place was 24/7 service like all the trash left at the bar at 2am. Unfortunately, it took me back to when I was a single man with no kids. When I would get all freshed up. Put deodorant on. $10 dollar cologne. Put all the work in to go over to a chicks house to only find I out that I’m getting an out the pants handy. I’ve had a very struggling life, and this is more inconvenient than that. And now I am stuck with my load and there is no way I can release it until tomorrow at 6 AM..

I would recommend NOT choosing Public Storage or this specific location. It is almost impossible to find someone there... business hours must be more of an idea for them, not a concrete reality. It is also hugely difficult to get in touch with customer service. There is no email option, only phone and online chat. The online chat is a joke. The Automated Assistant constantly kicks you out or says no one is available and to try again during business hours... during business hours. The phone representatives are likely located outside of the country and are very difficult to understand. When you can get in touch with someone, they simply tell you they can't do anything for you and to go to your location, which, again, no one seems to be at. Beyond frustrating. They also do not disclose they will gladly pro-rate you upon move-in, but not on moving out and will keep an entire month's rent when you only used the space for two days. Be warned they do not care about their customers.

They came , cut my lock off and replaced it with one of their own. I can't get ahold of anyone competent to talk to so that i can get my belongings back or to see if we can resolve the issue. Can someone provide an outside number or email that I can contact to have this issue settled. Since Public Storage refuses to help and judging by these reviews, they have a horrible track record they must be brought to justice and hopefully shut down. I say we start a class action lawsuit against them.

Outside storage unit roofs leak. Leaked rusty corrosive water on my car and ruined the paint.. Insurance is worthless and refuses to do anything. Rate increases literally every 6 months. Just got new rate increase that put me almost double what I originally started at. Moved out. Nobody ever in office or answering phones. If you want someone to call you.. shut off your auto pay or schedule a move out date lol.

i wish I could give negative stars. I live overseas in France. The public storage app is not downloadable in Europe (data privacy certification). So, I called 3 times: left two messages that I was moving out and spoke once to a customer service representative and all was good. Everything clear that I was moving out on July 20th and paid up thru the 31st. Except I am now receiving PAST DUE notifications ! No one present on site while I moved out (Customer service said no one on site except by appointment and that I did not need an. appointment to move out). Honestly, I hate receiving past due notices when it's Public Storage's fault for not properly noting my departure. Shame on you!!!

Would give a zero if I could. Customer service is terrible and never there or responsive.Customer service is basically non-existent. Super easy to setup and account an to get your business ($$$) but super complicated and difficult to eliminate your account or move units. Their IT system is Terrible and after weeks of calling without ever receiving an answer from an actual customer service representative and also weeks of visiting in person with no one ever on location, I still do not have a solution to my problem. I will never use this company again.I have moved with the military 18x using storage locations every time and this is absolutely the worst experience I’ve had in 19 yrs.

This place uses a teaser low rate to get you in the storage unit and then raises the rate astronomically. Additionally, they will charge you extra if you do not have insurance but they do not tell you that when you rent the space. There is never anyone in the office. I moved out December 17, 2022 and they are trying to make me pay for the month of January. Take your business somewhere else.

We have an extra car stored in Public Storage located 18910 Bedford Ave, Elkhorn, Nebraska. Love the space, but this is the 3rd time we have been up there today to get our car out. Both auto gates are not working and are off line. The office shows open, but there isn't anyone around and you can't get a real person to talk to you on the phone or online. Our other car is in the shop and we had to borrow our son's car to get to work. This is the 2nd time in two weeks that we haven't been able to get into the space. There was also another person waiting to get into the storage too. He said the same thing!

Avoid this place!! Been renting same unit for 3years. It has gone from $60 to $115 and the manager is impossible to get ahold of.

Property manager is never in the office, and if you call him to come in he's extremely rude and aggressive.More than once I've discovered the security door into the air control facility locked open, without the means to close it.My mom got a unit here for $83, and when we went over there to swap it under my name the rate increased to $129Did I mention the property manager is very mean? He'll quickly raise his voice at you for asking him questions, and don't even think about trying to break the tension with a light joke, he'll threaten to stop serving you.Found another facility in Blaire twice as big for $75, air controlled. I've been directing the other tenants here there, because they too have the same complaints.Save your money, go elsewhere.

I would not recommend Public Storage. Their customer service is horrible. I get overcharged each and every month. When I call to get it taken care of nobody can help. You sit on hold for 35 minutes and still nobody answers.
