Hit a rock that put my “good” mower out of commission - a couple broken pulleys and a slipped drive belt. I pretty much assumed I’d be using the backup mower for awhile. They were able to pick it up on Friday afternoon and had it dropped back off to me the following Monday. Excellent communication and customer service.

Went in to get our lawn mower repaired. Was quoted $170 to replace carburetor which I was told was the only thing that needed done. When I went in to pick it up, was told the cost was over $600. I told them no way and they came back with a cost of $330 because they also performed a servicing of it that cost $110 that they declined to tell me about. Do not use them for small mowers. They charge crazy amounts they don't tell you about.

The young salesman didn’t seem too interested in making a sale on a lawn tractor. I was ready to buy but he didn’t seem to care too much so I left. I’ll try the dealer that’s a little farther from me I guess.

Update....I had Platte Valley Equipment come to my house and service my mower. EXCELLENT service and reasonably priced. Would recommend them over Akrs all day long. The front tire was flat on my riding mower. Akrs was excellent in scheduling a service call. The tech indicated I needed a new tire and they didn't have one and didn't know how long it would take. Was able to buy a new tire and wheel on Amazon for $50. The invoice from Akrs was $91. I called to share that my expectation would be they provide guidance on the best way to take care of the issue. I feel they should be honest and indicate I should shop and save money. Apparently Akrs feels their responsibility is to simply fix the mower with no consideration of what's best for the customer. Don't trust these folks for professional advice. They will not consider your best interest.

The parts counter and Kent both earn gold stars and are great but the rest of this place really needs some restaffing. Purchased a new 3025e and several implements in a package deal and Salesman Chris Lutjemeyer said our tiller was scheduled to be in on May 10th but "things have been coming in about a week earlier" tiller was finally delivered June 14th. Grapple I was originally told by June 1st and sometime between that conversation and when final paperwork was printed the anticipated delivery changed to July 1st and I didn't catch it. Tractor was initially delivered with a hydraulic leak whenever using float function that should have been found on predelivery inspection according to the 2nd shop employee sent out to diagnose the issue. That's right 1st guy sent out tightened the lines going to loader valve said it was good then it still leaked the next day. Kent Kirchhoff went above and beyond to try to make things right and had changed my opinion of the company, but after my experience this morning I'm back to regretting choosing AKRS. I was told a used attachment listed for sale was still available and set up a time to be there with a trailer to purchase it only to show up 5 minutes early and watch it be sold out from under me by Todd with zero regard for the fact I was told by Chris it was still available and had set up a time to be there. Love my tractor good little machine other than the leak that was fixed. Really disappointed in the sales staff
