“On 12/28/2022 at 3:19am I pulled into the gas station, needing to fill up. I was in a trip from Fargo ND to Colorado Springs CO. I went to go in to pre pay and discovered I had lost my wallet. Probably at our last stop by Lincoln NE. We had $14 to our name. I went in to put in what I could, hoping to make it far enough that our daughter would be awake and able to help. The nice young clerk has asked what was going on. I had explained and as I paid and turn to walk out. He called me back inside. Handing me $20 out of his own pocket. He was our saving grace. With that $20 we had just enough to make it to CO.So, thank you for employing such kind heart employees!”

“This store has been around for at least 25 years, maybe closer to 30. The store hasn’t really changed much. The freshly made food is great, especially the pizza, product is usually stocked, and current employees are nice. But it’s very small and almost impossible to enter or leave when truck comes. They block the entire door and have to move over when someone needs in/out. It might be the only way to deliver, which stinks because unloading truck can be a real pain for employees and customers. Kudos to the management team who there with everyone else working to get the product in fast. I hate to bother them when I get my morning coffee and breakfast pizza. They are always very kind when I need to enter and leave, I appreciate them. With several other stores getting fresh updates or new buildings I was hopeful WR would get a new building or something more.Wheelchair accessibility: It is unclear where the vehicles go to unload someone from the car, with out lines in the lot you can’t tell if there is a handicap spot. There is one on the side of the store, but if you don’t know it’s there unless you are looking for it.”

“Just the perfect little Pilot. Out in the vastness of Nebraska this Pilot offers a driver everything with a different layout than the boring chain truck stop. This Pilot has a great design too. Just look up, cool lit signs and ceiling fans. It's clean, everywhere. The bathrooms are very clean and everything works! The laundry is great, only two machines and dryers but extremely clean with a folding table. Showers have tons of hot water and are clean. The towels are softer and seems cleaner than other Pilots. We're wondering if maybe management actually cares enough for drivers to use softener in the wash, if so it's greatly appreciated. There's a Subway, casino corner, kids toy machines and (of course) typical items normally sold at Pilot. The absolute best thing was the employees. We were there for a long break. The night staff was incredible and the morning staff friendly and professional, including Subway's employee who made us awesome food. This gives you the feeling of the old school truck stop, the people and the drivers there. Parking is easy straight back for free spots and pull through for reserves. Get there before 1900 if you want a free spot, it's a smaller lot. Great job Pilot!”

“We got stranded with a bad starter. The employee Nate was so helpful! There was also a gas tanker driver (pilot driver) that helped as well, but I didn't catch his name. They are great guys and if it wasn't for them me and my daughter would have been stranded overnight possibly longer. Quality employees with compassion. Thank you. Pilot travel centers will be out #1 stop for our many cross country trips from now on.”
