“This is a review for Carson City RV. I was looking for a P-trap that was flat and rare for my RV shower. They were the first place I stopped at (on the second day) and the last. Over the course of multiple days, I looked for 2 parts that I needed to fix my shower.

I have to say that everywhere I went, I mean everywhere, people were very polite and helpful. Unfortunately, they just didn't have the parts. And I'll tell you I went to a lot of places: 2 different Ace Hardwares, Home Depot twice, Lowe's, Cal Ranch, Carson RV, 2 locations for Hohl RV, and Western Sierra Plumbing. Again, everyone was super nice.

The lady that was running the entire place at Michael Hohl RV in South Carson was a very close second. She gave me the names of a couple places that I could check but they were 45 minutes in each direction away in Reno. So I made another stop at Carson City RV on the way out of town.

The winner of the most helpful, kind, considerate, friendly, nice, smart, and went the extra mile customer service asso. was the guy at Carson RV parts. But I have to also say there were a couple other people that were very helpful there as well and I really appreciate it, thank you!

Not only did he have the one part that multiple places had already said that they had never seen before, when I went back at the end of the day, he helped me find the other part. After running out of all other options in town, I went back to see if he could order the second part for me. He gave me a couple names in Reno and then... he looked it up on Amazon and actually found it. It was one of three parts in a kit and so that's probably why nobody else could find it.

Jason Hoff and his crew Nick - paint, Gabriel - body work and the other vendors he has suggested, have all been professional, thorough, reasonably priced and dedicated to top notch customer service.

Originally they were sought to install both of my new aftermarket bumpers with all of the goodies on my 2021 Toyota Tundra. Being reasonably priced and installing unexpected added items of a rear light bar, and new brakelights, as well as leveling out my nerf/side step bars, they have earned my customer loyalty. They even painted 2 unexpected extra tow hooks to match my paint at a very reasonable rate. I mentioned a scuff in my rear quarter panel and even that was buffed out as a courtesy.

A family business since 1979, Jason Hoff has taken the reigns handed down from his father Neal Hoff who clearly instilled knowledge, drive and a great old school attitude backed up by solid new school tech and efficiency in his son. To say I am impressed is an understatement. In 2026 it is indeed a rarity to find a business and crew who want to serve their customers so well. Need body/collision work or other incidentals? There are solid reasons Silver City Collision and RV Repair has such a good reputation and loyal return customers! “Outstanding shop! Rene is a true professional! Received a $4600 quote from Caliber Collision to repair the front splitter and undercarriage on my Shelby GT350 and they wanted a $2500 deposit. Showed up Monday afternoon at Rene's shop and he quoted me $2400 with no deposit. He said the deposit was already in his shop LOL. Friday afternoon he called to inform me the work was complete. Wish I found his shop years ago. Able and trustworthy, you won't be disappointed!”

“Just bought a 2027 Polaris Xpedition ADV from Nick. Really cool, low key atmosphere. No pressure to buy. Straight up with answering my questions, I was able to get some accessories ordered as well. I’ve bought other parts in the past from Ridezilla and it isn’t like your typical motorsports store. You are greeted and asked if you had any questions but there’s no feeling that if you aren’t there to drop some serious cash, nobody is interested in helping you. I ordered the wrong tie rod set online for my old Can Am and went in there to buy a factory set. Endured up buying a better, aftermarket set that was cheaper after speaking with one of the guys in the parts department.
My experience with Nick and the whole sales experience was awesome. Super down to earth, no pushy sales experience. I knew what I wanted and there was no attempt to sway me into a different model or buy an in stock model. I was happy with my prior experiences buying random parts for random vehicles and buying a new SXS was no different. I will definitely be back for another rig in the future.”
