“Great hotel with lots of character. Enjoyed the warm welcome from the front desk. Good food as well. Only thing is the thin doors as there was a barking dog next door. However the front desk attendant ensured us she would let our neighbors know! We didn’t hear the dog after that.”
“Nice spot to stop traveling across Nevada. Very helpful staff. Great breakfast selection. Convenient check out via TV. I did 4 stars though because they have a higher incidental deposit than most places, although they have a small in hotel shop if you want a wine you must go to the casino next door, and only due to location there isn't a lot of parking options to reduce your walk to your room. However, if i travel across Nevada again I definitely would stop here again.”
“If you are needing the Ritz to spend the night at, this isn't it. It is old motel for sure. My room had the old paneling on the walls which made it dark. It was very clean and the bed was very comfy. It had a microwave and a full size refrigerator. There were no keys or cards to get in the room, but a key pad with a code. Easy enough. They have Netflix, Disney, Youtube and several other channels. Did I mention that we love retro motels?”
“Cheapest in town and way nicer than comparable motels in town. They just installed sanitizer dispensers in rooms & masks were provided to us upon move in. Rooms r big, clean & well maintained.”

“Booked online, however call the office before hand to see about pet charges. Very nice to talk to on the phone. Pet charge was actually really cheap. $10 per pet. Got in late and they made it to so convenient to get into our room quickly. Room was clean, one of the better smelling rooms I’ve been in, and beds were comfy. In the morning, we left before they had the office officially open, they gave us a number to call when the office is closed. Again super sweet and nice to talk to on the phone. Got our questions answered and We will most definitely be staying here again!”

“Friendly staff, decent sized rooms, dorm sized refrigerator, comfy beds. Motel/Hotel across the street from hotel check in, restaurants and casino. Free drinks while you are gambling. Small casino but good variety of game selection.
Good restaurant, Mr G's Italian restaurant, next door to hotel/motel. Across the street there's another hotel/casino.”

“Again, single female travelling solo with a puppy. Staff was super friendly, rooms were very clean and bed seemed nearly new and comfy. The outside area was under construction and parking wasn't ideal but overall felt safe inside and out of the room.”

“Stayed in the Rustic Inn motel 2 nites 9/14 & 15th, 2025 and it was great. The owner is exceptional, delightful, hardworking, and makes sure your stay is comfortable. Rooms and grounds are very clean and the way the motel is angled, it was even quiet during the road construction. The owner runs a tight ship and I would definitely stay here again if in Ely. The only thing I might ask for is a little less scented cleaner in the room, but will pass that on as her extra care of the place and customers. We stayed an extra day to check out the town, museums and history; it was well worth it!”
