“Stayed here on 5/8/26. Very Nice and clean hotel. It's about 7 years old but is the newest in Ely. Staff was great. Room was very clean. Only problem was when I got in the shower I looked down and there is a large Crack in the shower pan that they tried to fix but not very good. I was on the 4th floor so I hope the water didn't leak down to the floor below. Everything else was great.”

“Vera owns the motel and she does a beautiful job keeping it clean. There is no morning breakfast, but there are plenty places to go to get the food.
There’s a small beautiful grassy area with outside seating and trees. It’s beautiful in the evening.
There are chairs in front of every room. And the rooms lock with an old-fashioned key.
There’s a good size refrigerator microwave in each room a nice TV
If you want service, you just put a hang out on your door and you will get service that day. If you don’t want service don’t put anything out and no one will bother your room.
This little town is clean and it’s beautiful in the summertime but very cold I understand in the winter”
“Nice clean cozy comfortable rooms. Comfortable clean beds with no strong fragrances assaulting your nostrils in your sleep. The room is not perfect, but it's plenty good for what it is with a certain charm and for what it's priced at. The check in is all remote, so you'll need a smart phone to pay/get the entry codes and such. You can call for any assistance you may need and a lovely and lively property manager lady will show up to assist you! As a bonus, the restaurant across the street does great breakfast burritos”
“The good; The monthly rate is Competitive, & Staff very helpful when my husband got into town late. We got a room with 2 beds. The rooms are spacious, they come equipped with a full size fridge, and a microwave, dining table (with 2 chairs) & rocking chair. The neighboring Tenants are very friendly, seems like a live & let live kind of place. Pets allowed. Quiet, even being near the roadway there isn't much noise.
The not Great; Water pressure is weak, I hate the location because there is no turn lane (on a road that is 60mph), can pose to be difficult when turning left into the dirt lot of the motel.”

“Ok so I was traveling with kiddos.
I had prebooked and I called as I was running late but they reassured me they'd hold the room and they did!!!
Loulisa was so amazing. She was help and efficient. Also patient with me as I flabbergasted and had to pee so bad!!!! She answered all my questions and was sweet as pie!!! Honey if you see this thank you for being you! You're amazing!!!
The room was ready to go and clean. It was easy to find. Thank you Jailhouse for making part of our trip amazing!!!!

“We liked our stays here in 2026 and 2007, passing through on a bicycle E-W trip back then, and returning from a MT to the SW trip now. Very clean and pleasant, good-value, quiet place. And it’s so easy to just walk across the street for meals. There’s an upstairs two-bdrm suite, very nice, if you are more than two people. We were three in 2007.”

“This is a very nice motel 6. The location is great, the rooms are immaculate, the beds are very comfortable, and it was very quiet. The only negative was that they were using the AI check in kiosk, which I absolutely HATE. So much, in fact, that I will not book a motel if I know they have it. The front desk lady had to override him a few times, and she was wonderful. I would absolutely stay here again, as long as a live person checked me in.”

“Great hotel with lots of character. Enjoyed the warm welcome from the front desk. Good food as well. Only thing is the thin doors as there was a barking dog next door. However the front desk attendant ensured us she would let our neighbors know! We didn’t hear the dog after that.”
