“I just love J Boutique!! First of all, Julie, the owner, is incredible!! She is one the sweetest, most fun, small business owners I’ve met. She treats her customers like family. And on top of that, she has the best eye and picks out the best clothes!! Every time I go to Tahoe I have to pop in for a great time and some great, one of a kind, finds.
Quick story to show how focused she is on the happiness of her customers. i purchased a pair of pants that fit in the store, but when I got home, 2 hour drive, I realized that I really needed one size up. Julie had me send the pants back and she shipped me out the larger size, no questions asked. Had to post about this because this is the kind of excellent customer treatment that you don't see enough of!! Julie, you are simply the best. See you on my text Tahoe trip!!

The cashier with long brown hair was so excited when I asked her if she would be willing to surprise me by picking one out and bagging it without me seeing which one she picked. She told me the reasoning behind the one she picked (without giving it away) and when I got home and unwrapped it I could see her thought process and it just made it extra sweet because I could tell she really thought about it and didn’t just pick the one on top. “I shopped here 40 years ago!! So happy it’s still open. They’ve been in business for 56 years, that’s how good they are.
Although they have unique Tahoe hoodies, etc. They also have unique clothing that you don’t find online, and you get to try on. I bought 2 semi-dressy outfits for the summer that no one else will have so I’m over the moon 🌙.

“This visit happened to be on a sad occasion but the staff was so kind and helpful and patient with me as I purchased and had shaped the last hat, jeans, and belt for a cowboy being laid to rest. The staff took their time to help me make sure everything was just right. It is one thing to sell stuff it is another thing to honor and respect others, and today the team working the morning rush really did that.”

“Ross in South Lake Tahoe is well organized and clean. The merchandise they carry seems better than most of the Ross stores I have visited in recent years, even though I didn't find anything to purchase. The store is pretty big, with a beautiful storefront and a huge parking lot. The area looks very safe.”

“Most fun place to buy your boots and clothes, great staff and really good prices. We went into the store and were greeted with friendly staff and they were very helpful with sizes and letting us try things on the gentleman with the beard even engaged with my daughter and made her smile. The boots were awesome and they fit perfect and they have lots of style with good pricing. It's definitely worth going into the store just to browse around and hopefully find some thing to purchase. They also made me feel extra special since it was my birthday and it made me feel like I was getting a birthday present from them even though we were buying the boots and clothes. Also there was a worker who was also sharing a Leo birthday with me who was great! All around great!!!”
