“Greetings. My name is Angela Brown and I'm the daughter n law of the late James Brown. I walked into your Henderson Store yesterday with my daughter to purchase some speakers for my husband's electric guitar set. I was greeted nicely at the door by the security office and asked if someone may assist me with their inventory. He told me to just go straight into the back in the speaker section and he'll call someone to help. Once we got back there, there were 2 individuals ( a guy and a female) talking and playing on their phone's. They made eye contact with me, but never smiled or even asked me if I needed help. As I continued to stand there with my daughter, a nice guy name Denziel Washington (?) greeted me and asked if I needed help. He showed me some cool speakers and also turned on the sound so I could hear each one. I finally narrowed it down to which one I was gonna purchase, and we he started to ring me up, he saw my old Augusta Georgia address, in which he screamed out, he's from Augusta. We began to talk and that's when i told him that I was married to James Brown's son, Daryl, who actually played in his father's band, the Soul Generals. He was so enlightened as we talked about my fsther n law and Augusta Georgia. The moral to the story is.....you never know who's who and you should always be nice to everyone. Mr Washington was so considerate, I gave him a nice tip to thank him. Customer Service is very important to me, and when someone shows me that love, I always like to show them how much I appreciate them. GIVE DENZIEL WASHINGTON A RAISE! ?????? He works at the Henderson location by West Sunset. Stop and in and tell him Angela Brown recommended him. ??”
