“While driving on the freeway, I was passing a semi when my engine started tapping and the ‘Check Engine’ light came on. Fairly soon after, my car slowed down to about 5 mph, fortunately right at an exit. I stopped and checked the oil which which was not registering on the dipstick. I requested a tow with AAA and had it taken to their shop a on Boulder Hwy in Henderson, NV. They provided me with a Lyft ride home, and the next day, a Friday, called and told me the news I knew was coming… they had found significant metal shavings in the oil, meaning the engine would need to be replaced. Eli quoted me an estimate, which was a bit better than I expected. The engine arrived the following Wednesday and the car was ready on Friday. The final cost was pretty much dead-on the quote. During this time, Eli was great about keeping me informed as to their progress, which was much appreciated. My sincere thanks goes out to all the people involved… great place for my money!”

The transmission they installed shifts smooth and I got reverse gear back. Staff was friendly and honest. I dealt with Scott the most and he was welcoming and straight forward. “They diagnosed CEL light on my F350 and fixed the truck quickly. Especially, since they had to fix Gaudin Ford’s poor and unethical maintenance repair. Gaudin used wood screws to assemble the DEF Sending / Heater Assembly Unit. Gaudin had also crushed the vent assembly to the unit.”

“This is an amazing owner operated shop. We originally found Ace when we were looking for someone to perform basic oil changes & maintenence on a household of European & Korean cars. Since then, it's become our go to spot for everything. We have a Volvo, Audi Mercedes & a Hyundai. We had the radiator replaced on the Volvo at another shop but my son continued to have to put coolant in the car frequently. We took it back to that shop & were told nothing was wrong. No suggestions or possibilities were offered so my son just continued to keep a supply of coolant on hand & check the levels. Recently, he decided to take it to Ace to find out why his oil was leaking. They diagnosed & gave 2 possible reasons. They also said when the car was in the shop, they would let us know what needed to be done to fix the radiator leak. While my son decided when he wanted to get the repair done, he realized he also needed brakes. By the time he dropped his car off, he had worn the brakes down so badly, the calipers seized. Needless to say, we were sure that with all of these issues, we would be in for a couple thousand dollars at least. We were given an estimate, which seemed reasonable. When my son called for the total before picking the car up, the final cost was $800 under what we had been quoted. I've never experience that with an auto repair shop before. They even discovered that the radiator wasn't the issue. A hard to access hose had been incorrectly installed & was causing the leak. They tightened it up while doing the other repairs & it has not leaked since. My son says the car runs like it's new. This place is the best. They are honest & do a great job. You'll definitely need to make an appointment ahead of time because they're busy but they're worth it.”
