“As soon as I entered the shop, I was treated like family. My first experience with this shop was accidental. I was about a block and half away from this shop when suddenly I had a rear flat tire on my tri bike. I tried to change the flat but I inadvertently did not put enough air in the tube. I didn't have a pump so I was out luck. I could not find anyone passing buy to help me with my flat tire. I was about 5 miles away from home and decided that I was going to just call an UBER to take me home with my sorry flat tire. Out of nowhere a lady in car pulled up next to me and said there was a Bike repair shop about a block away . I didn't even know I was that close to a bike repair shop. I checked my map and decided to carry my bike to the shop. Las Vegas Cyclery save the day. I came in and they were super busy in the shop. However, they made the effort to immediately service my bike without hesitation!! I know they had other customers but this is first class service at its best. This is what I mean by family. This Bike shop was awesome. I decided to walk in there 3 weeks later to buy myself a brand new road bike. I donated my old Tri bike to the shop. My ordered bike came in 1 week later and they set me up. Fit, equipment , anything I needed. Like I said, they treat you like family. That is old school treatment. That is very difficult to find today. This is your one stop shop for bikes. I want to thank everyone in there that help me out . Thank you!!! MP”
“12/19/2025. I needed to purchase some chain cleaner and chain lube for my e-bike today and I was so pleased to meet Liz your new Female mechanic, I love her. Liz was very knowledgeable about the cleaning products and how they work and she was answering every question I had about things I was planning on buying from Giant Bikes in the near future. Josh is a sweet heart he talks to me like I’m intelligent and explains anything I need help understanding in detail so I can take good care of the new e-bike I bought from them back in I think in February of 2022. I had been getting my manual Cannondale bike serviced at Giants for a few years prior to Purchasing the e-bike there. I am so pleased that Liz is a female mechanic, Josh and the other male mechanics there treat me like family whenever I entered the store and I always get a warm greeting too, today it was Liz the new female mechanic and Hanna one of your managers that Assisted me today. This was my first time having a real conversation with Hanna that was more than a greeting. Hannah shared knowledge with me about my bike that too that I had never asks the other mechanics before, she is pretty knowledgeable too. Liz and Hannah both made me feel welcome and they very patiently in a language that I could understand, explained helpful information in detail helpful information that will help me take better care of my bikes maintenance besides the once a year tuneup that I have Giant perform on my bike once a year. I’m an introvert and sometimes my shyness and the way I was treated at other repair shops for other bikes and vehicles I have owned. In other repair places, in my past, I was talked down at and I feel overcharged sometimes because I was a woman. Everyone that has helped me since I switched to Giant Bike’s has treated me with respect and explained and visually shown the process of how to repair or adjust anything on my bike that I occasionally don’t have the time or knowledge to repair properly by myself until they teach me which they always enthusiastically are happy to share their knowledge and biking experiences with me when I ask. Even though everyone is always really helpful to me at Giant Bike at Mountains edge location, having a female mechanic and one female manager, made it easier for me as a female introvert to ask questions I was too embarrassed to ask the very kind, patient, very knowledgeable male mechanics at Giant before. Hanna and Liz are both very easy to talk to they never rushed any of my questions and I came in with a lot. If you live in Mountains Edge and your looking for a place to purchase or repair bikes, this is the place you want to go. Your treated like family and your given a fair price for any bike or repair purchased at this location, they genuinely care about their clientele and they care about keeping us safe on properly repaired, maintained bikes. They will help you get the best deal for what you need.”
