Really bad customer service. They gave us a 30-day “No Cause” Notice to Quit on 9/6/23 so we found another house and moved out on 9/30.First, they tried charging us legal fees for the eviction. They didn’t remove those until I threatened a lawyer.Second, they are trying to charge us $1100 because we didn’t submit a notice to move out 30-days prior to us moving out. We submitted a notice to move out on 9/18 so they are charging us for rent for 10/1-10/18. We were just trying to follow the eviction. Why would they charge us rent for days we legally could not live there? It’s such a frustrating experience. We were never late on rent, we took care of the house. It was our home for almost 4 years and they are evicting us then trying to charge us extra. The whole situation is awful. I will never rent a house from Mynd or do business with them in any way.

MYND is a TERRIBLE company. Move in process was not smooth, they allowed us to move in with exposed wires and a broken microwave. Every single work order we have put in takes over a month to be addressed, and that’s with constant calling and messaging to try to stay on top of it. They currently have us without a working toilet and washing machine for a month and a week. When I call the company for updates they tell me I will get a call back, and never do. Frustrations are high. I will definitely not re sign with this company and I do not recommend it to anyone.

** AVOID ** SCAM ** AVOID ** SCAM**Each month since June of 2023, money ($500) has been taken out of my disbursement of my funds each month from this company.I called the property manager that handles my property and she refused to call, email etc with an explanation. Her coworker tells me she will contact me when she’s finished with a client. Hours go by, no call so I called again. Her coworker now tells me she’s been on vacation.I requested her manager because at this point my money is missing and you are avoiding communicating with me. Her coworker stated that her manager isn’t accepting any of my calls.I asked the employee what do you mean he isn’t taking any of my calls? The employee continues and say “yes, that is what he told me”.So now my money is missing, the property manger, has disappeared with no form of communication. Now her manager is refusing to speak with me even though my money is missing! It has been almost 2wks and no one has yet to contact me. At this point, I am considering this a theft and a scam. Working with my attorney as we speak

ITS WEIRD HOW ALL THE 5 STAR REVIEWS COME FROM ACCOUNTS WITH MINIMAL ACTIVITY AND ALL SAY ABOUT THE SAME THING.ALMOST AS IF A TERRIBLE COMPANY WITH TERRIBLE PERFORMANCE PAID FOR REVIEWS TO ADJUST THEIR GOOGLE SEO RANKINGThis company is beyond the pale. From the start, the scheduling and appointment keeping with this company were poor at best. I intentionally selected a day that worked with my schedule to walkthrough and take possession of keys. The office outsources it's scheduling apparently and contacting the customer support line initiated a rube Goldberg machine of communication failures. It took a week of back and forth to get the dates sorted and the on move in, there was a laundry list of issues. On top of that, the deposit was DOUBLED. The garage was full of the previous occupants trash with no answer as to what was going to be done with it, so it takes up storage space that could have been used for my home business. On top of that, the HOA suspended access to amenities and the property management company refused to address the issue on multiple occasions to the point where I've had to contact the ombudsman for resolution, while mynd charged $1000 direct bill from the HOA that couldnt be disputed. The initial issues with the property are being addressed after 5 months of repeated calls and service orders.DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

If I could give ZERO stars I would! This is by far one of THE WORST property management companies I’ve ever encountered from a tenant and homeowner standpoint!!IF YOU ARE A HOMEOWNER DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME TRUSTING THEM TO DO RIGHT BY YOUR PROPERTY!!IF YOU ARE A TENANT DEFINITELY DO NOT TRUST THEM TO DO ANYTHING FOR YOU!!They don’t respond to service requests, don’t return calls and apparently HAVE A FAKE OFFICE ADDRESS IN LAS VEGAS NEVADA THAT HAS NOT BEEN USED BY A REAL PERSON FOR 2yrs (someone sneakily comes at odd hours to retrieve mail and rent payments).THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!I HAVE RETAINED AN ATTORNEY WHO IS WILLING TO HELP ANYONE WHO HAS BEEN TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY #MYNDDO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!

Absolute worst experience. This house had to be abandoned before i moved in. Work orders that were promised were not complete. It took me almost 2 months to start moving my stuff and its been problem after problem. I shouldnt be putting in work orders so soon. Then today i find large roaches coming out the drains. Outside lights dont work in the back and are completely missing in the front. I was told owner said neighbors complained about bright spot light so they took it down yet everyone has light except me .just 3 days ago someone broke into my car so i ordered from amazon some temporary spot lights. The yard is unkept but im expected to spend $300 to get it in shape because according to mynd the owner has no responded or has not agreed to the price. I get many answers from different people. They dont respond back in timely fashion, all they do is apologize when you call. No one has a response that has any value. Cabinets were crooked or put together with tape, fridge had a leak that someone obviously knew about because they turned off water dispenser. Moving into a house was suppose to be a new experience for me and the kids and now i just want to cry. Wish I never found this place. I really hate this property and dislike the lies I was told . Do not rent from them unless youre a handy man ready to start working.

Landlords / Property Owners - STAY AWAY!!! This company is, in my opinion, incompetent and worse, SLOW as molasses. They will onboard your property and take your money. They charge their monthly fees, even without tenants. But getting your unit inspected, fixed up and ready to rent will take them MONTHS!! It seems they employ a bunch of work from home people.Just horrible experience with this team. It seems they don't have anyone local except the manager and she is overwhelmed. I finally cut them loose after 2 months with no movement in getting my unit rented. Just a waste of my time.Potential tenants, - I say stay away as well. This company generates money from me and they have total disregard for their client. Imagine how you will be treated!!

If I could give them negative stars I would. WORST management company as a homeowner and a renter. We had a pipe leaking and called constantly and emailed and they didn’t respond until we were able to contact the owner. It was over a week before they sent someone to fix it.On top of it, they are VERY SLIMY. They charged us $600 total in cleaning fees including when we moved in and they didn’t even have the house clean when we moved in. They tried to keep our deposit by saying the screen was broken, luckily we took pictures around the house and had proof that the screen was not broken - however they are ignoring are calls and emails to give us our deposit back. We also had the house cleaned before we moved out to ensure our deposit would be returned but they are very SHADY company.

This company is really starting to disappoint me.They are very hard to get in touch with…it takes days to get responses to emails or requests to receive a call back from your property manager.Be prepared to have fees of $35 for a light bulb or $45 for a fan pull chain. I think they make a profit on work orders! All in all, they are pretty deceptive to get you signed up and then leave you without the service that you are paying for. They are a total “bait and switch” company that has pretty marketing but the pretty ends as soon as you sign up!

Current tenant here. Moved into a Mynd home late March of this year coming from another corporate managed home (Progress Residential). What attracted us to rent a home from Mynd is a home with a pool! But we have regretted this decision and should have stayed with in our old rental that had no pool! For 2 months of timely rent, this company has delayed fixing pool pump issues since we have moved in! So for paying a high rent with a pool we have been unable to use it during the warm summer days and the last 2 holidays. They play games with sending different vendors to come in with incorrect work orders further delaying resolving pool issues. Despite both vendors sending correct work order requests (confirmed because i called the vendors directly). A different guy each visit would come and not address the pool pump issue and resend a new work order in, and more waiting for "approval", rinse and repeat. So for weeks, we have this huge stagnant water that's collecting algae, bacteria and turning GREEN despite reports to them that it's turning into a health hazard issue, my messages are ignored. We've missed out on mother's day and memorial day weekends in enjoying our pool because of this and it's going to be June tomorrow. So renters beware! If you're looking into renting a property with a pool from them, expect to have no summer fun in your own pool! Try Progress Residential if you want to rent because atleast they take care of you and keep you updated with everything. After this lease is done, we will most likely go back with Progress.

I wish there was an option for zero stars. The recent reviews from a tenant's point of view is one-hundred percent correct. The application process was smooth with excellent communication throughout. As someone who moved cross country, now renting their home; i.e. a landlord myself, I can attest to the fact that this company is extremely unprofessional. We experienced an issue six-months ago, reported, a vendor "fixed it" not once but twice, and it continues to be an active issue. You never speak to the same person twice, responses are spread out weeks apart, if you receive a reply at all. The only time they respond is when they receive a complaint from the HOA addressing the concern you brought to their attention months ago- then it becomes a priority. Do yourself a favor make sure you properly document all issues, keep a record (because the company's service representative never seems to have a record of "any prior communications"), and if you have an attorney, copy them. Best of luck to current and future tenants.

Renting a home with them for a year now. Every maintenance issue takes multiple calls and multiple visits to resolve. I have been waiting for a repair on the back slider door for 6 weeks now and we had a leak at our water main (on our side) last week. Took 4 days to repair, with me calling over 10 times. Low and behold, the repair didn't take and we once again HAVE NO RUNNING WATER IN THE HOUSE. It has been 3 hours and no one has called me back or scheduled a plumber to come out. The reps on the phone promise that they are forwarding this to maintenance to handle and that it will be taken care of but no one ever calls me back and it takes days WITH NO WATER to get response. Absolutely horrible.

I'm Left without Hot Water for two nights in a row! Been living in my place since 2019, and I have to say these guys are super Lazy! I've never been late on rent, never used any covid rent assistance or anything. I stay here for the convenience of location! Every time I need something fixed they drag their feet to get it done! One time they came and didn't even knock on my door or ring my door bell and lied and said they did, not knowing I have a camera! I hardly speak to them on the phone but when I do they all have the worst attitudes or sound incompetent, even the managers. They just don't want to take blame for what ever issue I'm having at the time. Everyone in there needs more sensitivity training, my family is out of hot water and the manager is arguing withme basically saying it's not her fault. Grow up and do your job.First red flag was when I first moved in they were supposed to fix minor things like paint spots on the wall fix a broken board, and I remember they tried to tell me they weren't at fault even though it was agreed before I even signed my lease they would have it taken care of before I moved in. So when I provided proof and they came to fix those minor things they sent the worst possible people they could find. The wall is green and the color isn't even a match so now there's a green spot on the wall that looks off. And they cut a piece of the wall out to match the color and that square stands out like crazy, they weren't sharp enough to pick a part of the wall that was at least hidden.Everybody I have encountered at Mynd has been extremely unprofessional.
