My roommate and I had been looking for our next home for a while now and we're planning out our move. The lovely ladies in the office made sure to make everything very simple and easy! Maria has been a huge help! With any questions we have she make sure to get back to us immediately! They gave us a beautiful tour of the unit! And made sure to give us any information to help us choose the right unit!

I've been resident for some time, everything is fine when it comes to my unit and spacing however, the staff here is questionable. The employee in question would be the heavy set woman with a blonde pony tail I occasionally see whilst walking my dog. I've heard her speak negatively about about other residents as I'm passing by. I never see her being productive just sitting in the golf cart not cleaning or moving and going into what looks like her apartment multiple times a day. I wonder who would hire such unprofessional and rude and lazy staff. If you are considering moving here also consider that the staff here needs improvement or just better employees.

When we applied several years ago everyone in the office was friendly and helpful. After we moved in that changed. Having lived here many years they are often rude, ignore us if we see them when we go to the mailroom. Some of the people we have met here have told us the same. When we talked to Sylvia (manager) about neighbors keeping us awake late at night or waking us up between midnight and 3 AM we were told, if you don't like it move !We owned rental property and didn't treat our renters like crap. A friend we know also owns several. He does not either. Renters pay the mortgage, taxes and more. Here we also pay the salary of employees. The property has gone downhill. People throw trash on the ground and don't pick up after their dogs. I was told by Jeanne, who cleans the grounds, she was told to especially keep the area around the office cleaned. Walking the dog we have seen the same near model apartments. The bushes are kept trimmed and flowers are replaced often in those areas. Trees and plants are dying or dead and not removed or replaced when they are taken out. The American flag has been ripped for years. Sylvia makes sure the area surrounding the offices is kept clean and plants replaced to impress prospective renters. She doesn't respect the US enough to replace the flag. She also never has lowered to half staff to respect those who have passed in NV as the Governor instructs or on Memorial Day. It's never lowered at sunsetThe night security is one man who walks this complex and the one behind from 9PM to 5AMThe fire extinguisher near our apartment has never been serviced. The gate by Sandhill is no longer accessible. People who live here and some who don not climb over. Renters and I feel this is a hazard in an emergencyHomeless people roam the property. I have seen them in the hot tub, outside shower, going through dumpsters. One broke into an apartment. People who have talked to the manger have been told in a nasty, loud voice call the cops !!!!The apartment manager and her boyfriend drive on the property like they are at the LV Motor Speedway. I have had to wait for the boyfriend to drive by so I could cross in a crosswalk. He came within 2 or 3 feet of hitting me with his truck. The manager sometimes stops. The manager is mid 30's and is not handicapped. She parks in a handicap space rather than an unassigned space. She also partially blocks the crosswalk not parking within that space lines. Impossible for a few people with walkers, in wheel or electric chairs to cross at that spot . The manager had a car towed that is owned by a handicap lady who lived here 4 years. She had forgotten one evening to place her card in the car window. She had to pay $400 in order to have her car released. Our original lease includes the make, model, color and tag info. The manager could have called her before the car was removed. Fireworks are NOT allowed on the property. July 4, 2020 she and about 40 friends set them off, partied without masks inside and outside the office. They spilled drinks on the sidewalk leaving it sticky for weeks, threw plastic cups and bottles from liquor on the ground. This was left for the man who cleans the grounds to remove.

I wanted to update my review as I have been exceedingly happy with our experience living here and more importantly with Sylvia. Our jacuzzi is always open, security is on point, our gym is clean and well furnished and our location cannot be beat! If you are considering renting at Rancho Ocaso, you will be very happy you made the decision to do so. Thank You Sylvia for all that you do and your amazing team - I love living here

The only reason we moved in here was because it was one of the only apartment complexes that accepted Pitbulls in Las Vegas. However, our experience here was horrible. During our time living here, some of our plants were stolen from our porch. Which I went to the office about and they told me they didn’t have cameras only a security guard who patrols at night (which I never once seen), the mailbox was broken into multiple times which thankfully none of our mail ever got stolen. My husband car was broken into during the night, which nothing of value was even in yet they stole the window lock controls from the door on the drivers side. No one ever picked up after their dog and most people were irresponsible dog owners, one who would constantly walk their dog without a leash. Our upstairs neighbor we could hear stomp at all times and even smell their cigarette smoke through our bathroom vents. It is your typical apartment with endless layers of paint. We couldn’t wait to move out and have been so much happier since we left.

I lived here for years. The employees who work here are amazing and the apartments are well maintained. They're constantly updating the property and even put in a new pool last summer. I can't say enough about how great my experience was living here. Great location close to the airport, freeway and shopping. Also, the manager Silvia is great. She is the reason I choose to stay for so long.

I just want to start by saying....WOW! I am so impressed with not only the cleanliness of the apartments but the property manager,Silvia, and get friendly team! I mean they went out of their way to make me feel welcome! I was there with my 3 kids and Silvia totally entertained them while Rachel helped me. I've lived in 3 different apartments since I moved here and I must say this is the best complex I have lived in. When I have issues with anything, Silvia always sends her friendly and knowledgeable maintenance guys to fix my issues. I am so glad I didn't listen to the negative yelps I read about before going in there for myself because my experience here couldn't be any more positive! If I could give more stars I would! Keep up the great work Rancho Ocaso!!

Before you consider this property please read inside info I learned from employees. The area around the office is a priority to keep clean. The back is referred to as "The Ghetto". Trash might be removed or never in other areas. People living in buildings near Annie Oakley Drive sometimes have scorpions in their apartment. Neighbors and I have been verbally disrespected by the manager, Sylvia, as well as the other office people. We all agree we dread having to go inside. They are polite if other renters are in the office but watch out otherwise. If Maria is outside smoking she turns around when renters walk by and ignores themRachel does the same when you see her outside. Sylvia often parks in a handicap space and sometimes blocks the crosswalk. She is NOT handicapped. A senior lady who lived there for several years forgot to place her handicap sign back in her window one afternoon when she returned home. Sylvia had her car towed. It cost the lady $400 to get the car back. Be careful when walking anywhere off the sidewalks and hold your children's hand. Sylvia, apartment manager, and boyfriend drive on the property like they are on the Las Vegas speedway. She sometimes stops. He rarely does. If I had not walked the last 2/3 steps quickly back on the sidewalk he would have run me over. I was in a crossing areaTheir so-called security is one man who walks this complex and the one in back from 9pm to 5am. Fire extinguishers are not serviced.Maintenance told me they never clean the AC/heat ducts as recommended every 3 to 5 years, If your unit stops working it's replaced. They don't replace washer hoses either as recommended. When they leak from dry rot and water floods your apartment they will be replaced. Not all the outlets near the kitchen sink are GFCI The mailroom and mailboxes have been broken into several times.Homeless people often roam the property.Apartments have been broken into.Soon after I moved there an employee said we should buy extra locks for our windows and slider. We lived in a ground floor apartmentThree people in my building had their car broken into.I talked to a friend this morning who lives a few buildings from me. Their car has been damaged 5 times. Because it is slight, they stopped having it repaired.

Love living here!!! So clean. Friendly staff. Clean amenities! 10/10. It's so refreshing to live in a community where the staff care just as much as you do. The maintenance workers are so quick and efficient. Management always has your back. RACHEL is who I always call when I notice something and she is always on top of it. I love living here :)

I have lived on property over 3 years and have enjoyed every minute of it! The office management is always so kind and very professional... and very quick to respond to any needs or concerns. Sylvia, the manager, really cares about the property and makes living here truly feel like “home”. It’s a beautiful gated community with plenty of amenities that are always clean and well cared for. The pool has just been redone and looks like a resort pool now. The apartments are so nice and spacious and also well cared for. If something breaks - even at odd hours (water heater early am) maintenance is super quick to respond and handle it. I even got a free carpet cleaning afterward. Sure, there are disrespectful people who don’t clean up after their dog (there are courtesy dog waste stations all over - so it’s just plain lazy to not pick up after your dog!!). If caught they are promptly fined, it is NOT tolerated. My 95lb dog is always greeted with smiles and happy voices, the no breed restriction policy here is such a breath of fresh air. The grounds are well cared for, they even offer free pest control if ever needed. Which isn’t needed often since they spray the grounds weekly. The incredible things included in your stay here make this place more affordable than you may realize. I could go on and on about the many positive experiences I’ve had living here. I have zero complaints and absolutely love it. I would give this review 10 stars if I could. Thank you Sylvia, Maria, Rachel and all the wonderful maintenance staff!! I definitely recommend living in Rancho Ocaso Apartments, it’s a wonderful place to call home.

I’ll start off my living experience here at Rancho by first saying, it’s great I met wonderful people and made fantastic friends. But , the apartments charge too much for too little in my opinion, they are charging Morden prices ($1,100-$1,300) , for old apartments... these apartments at most look like $900 a month!! Let’s say for explain there are 200 apartments and let’s estimate that each is $1000 a month , thats $200,000 a month , $2,400,000 a year, yet they can’t remodel it to look Modernized .. in my opinion, put the rent to cheap ! Or remodel!! For such little space !! They should really consider coming up with a blueprint for the apartments!! I know they can! To make it look for Modern!! ....... (If you cheaper the rent it’ll be a estimate $180,000 monthly , you’ll be great......... ) but overall great apartments!!
