“US post office The postal worker that waited on me by the name of Valentina definitely deserves five stars I am handicapped and on oxygen, and when I reached the window, my concentrator started beeping in going on empty. I was at the post office to pick up a large, or package. I told the postal worker the package was going to be quite large and she said she would meet me at my car. This inot only gave me time to add a new battery to my concentrator, but I also to opened up the car. She tried to place the package in the trunk and it was too large so then she placed it between the passenger seat and the backseat. Not only did she load my package, but she also loaded my walker in the truck. How much more could a handicap person asked for but this postal worker was definitely helping me over and above and I truly appreciate it. ? Sincerely, Cynthia Wallace.”

UPS’ 800 number for customer service stated that my children’s homeschool curriculum were considered “lost” since it wasn’t scanned for an update for over 34 hours (called multiple times to see is anyone can figure out what happened to my packages (7) in transit and they knew less than I did; for some odd reason.)

I wanted answers since the last scan was “loaded into truck” so I contacted this store (UPS store #7141) because unfortunately Minden, NV’s UPS doesn’t have a front desk (it’s just a warehouse distribution center) and an employee named Amber was such a help via. phone and e-mail.

After our phone call I e-mailed her as was conversed and she followed up with me via e-mail later on the day stating she will converse with one of their drivers.

The next morning, by the grace of God and this store, I received a phone call (I unfortunately do not remember if it was Amber or another woman) stating that they located my packages and were making sure it was sent out and delivered that day.

That day upon delivery, the UPS driver that delivered our packages saw my children and I walking towards our door and stated that he delivered our packages and not to worry anymore.

The way they went above and beyond was awesome and I am thankful for such hard working individuals like them. It is people like these individuals that deserve a raise!”

“My first time using this and it was a great experience shipping out an oddly shaped package. She hooked me up with a box and explained how everything worked with package insurance. Highly recommend if you need to ship something out.”

“Greater Genoa citizens don't receive direct mail service at their residences and businesses. Instead, most everyone has a box at the Genoa Post Office. So depending on the time of day, the Genoa Post Office is a happening place. Getting in and out of the parking lot can be an adventure in itself, and with COVID, it's sometimes hard to recognize your neighbors. Now that Gayle and I live just outside of Genoa Proper, I enjoy the experience. When Gayle first registered for our PO Box, the postal employee immediately noted that Vassar was a Genoa Proper name. That's true as her Dad's family arrived here around the 1940s. So that makes only me as the California invader (via Iowa) in our house. :) If there's too much mail to fit inside the box, I'll either see a key inside the slot, directing me to a larger "locker" space to retrieve my package. Otherwise, I'll see a yellow or green slip, directing me to the desk. The folks working at the post office are nice and with a local flair that I relish. They'll even collect my MIL's mail for me to deliver, no questions asked.”

She assured me she would watch out for it and make the necessary correction and not to worry. The package was delivered today...a day early...and I cannot express how thankful I am for the personalized care and professionalism this young lady showed.
