“I would like to Thank Alicia, Case Manager and her Office Manager Lisa with Foster Kinship. I'm a Grandmother 71 years old who has been raising my Grandchildren since they were elementary; almost 15 years. They were in foster care and I was awarded Legal Guardianship which I was so Thankful!! Recently; I am having financial difficulties until I reached out to Alicia and without hesitation she went above and beyond to assist me. I don't know where me and my Grandchildren would have gone without a roof over our head. When I speak with Alicia she is always so patient and definitely has a heart of Gold!! I feel me and my family have been Blessed!! We won't have much of a XMAS; however, I Thank our Lord we have a roof over our head. I just want to say Thank you to Alicia and Management at Foster Kinship.
Another Note: For Thanksgiving I was provided a gift card for food; since we didn't receive EBT due to the shutdown. Foster Kinship not only provided a gift card but Alicia delivered me a box with a gift card for a Turkey and the other items needed for our Thanksgiving Dinner. Thank you to Alicia and Foster Kinship!!!

I did reach out to another Non-Profit Agency and they didn't want to hear my situation and refused to assist me and said Absolutely Not!! .”

“Large store with wide variety of second hand items. As usual all items will require washing, some sterilized. Very helpful, kind employees. Wheelchair accessibility parking right in front. As per many stores these days shopping carts may not be used to take purchases to your car. Having someone assist you is just a matter of asking. Very accommodating!”

“I have been going to Helping Hands food bank for about 8 years. The people at the food bank are so very kind snd nice. I truly don't know what I would do if yhis place was not available for seniors. I really do appreciate the people. Everyone that is there are absolutely the best. I cant thank them enough as well as the different organizations that donate to the food bank. Thanks to all involved and God bless you.”

“I am able to get groceries from the North 5th location thru Golden Groceries. It helps me make It through the month. Living on a fixed income is not always easy. Everybody at this location are so nice,kind and helpful. I have to recognize Coutney especially. She was wonderful. Thanks again”

I wasn't able to attend the appointment with my boys and she checked to make sure she was able to provide me with information first then walked me through everything that needed to be done before their next appointment. She also left notes for the provider for the next appointment. I really appreciate her commitment to patient confidentiality and the patience she displayed while answering all of my questions. I wish I can remember her name.”
