“THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! I went to see Monty Python's Holy Grail. They didn't so good. I love slapstick comedy with all my heart and my dad introduced me to almost all of the best slapsticks out there. I loved it.”

“Amazing experience for the kids and family as a whole. Unlimited number of fun activities for toddlers to keep them occupied for a good 2-3 hours. They do not have any food or drinks outlets, so carry your own as you can use the dining area to refresh.”

“I absolutely LOVEEEE this concept of allowing students to shop here! I’m not sure how the process exactly goes. I pray the children are able to have items completely free opposed to having to pay anything.

Drop off process was simply and smooth minus my encounter with Stacy Chapman. She is a rude little thing I tell you! Clearly it was my first time donating and I was excited about that. I can through the front door, she was not very warm at all. There was no warm welcome in her drop off. Instructions were very vague. I ended up having to come back inside of the building to get her assistance again since her first instructions were unclear. Her dry caddy energy almost drove me to just take the clothes elsewhere but I remembered my why and left the items.

Being that this was my very first encounter with Project 150 I will never forget that. She really left a bad taste in my mouth. The organization may Want to find someone else who is more warm, friendly, impatient as far as interacting with first time donors.”

“Aynee and Angels of LV are AMAZING. They helped me through one of my most tragic times of my life- my journey with breast cancer. I had to go through chemotherapy and they donated wigs to me, along with connected me with resources to help me through my journey. Thank you so much Aynee! You truly are an angel!”

“I had a scare with a partner, got an anon text saying my partner was positive and so I decided to go in to get tested. Kaiju was helping me get my life together and had a guy named James watching him. Wasn’t sure about him being in the room with us but I’m always down for a learning opportunity! James was great at listening and Kaiju KNEW EVERYTHING I needed to feel safe and comfortable with being okay with what my results were. James was taking notes and seemed very intrigued and eager to learn! Kudos to them both for the work they do and how they both made me just simply feel safe being there! I will be a repeat client. Sorry about it ?”

“We had a great experience adopting through Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions. The entire process was smooth and easy from start to finish, and everyone we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and responsive. We really appreciated the excellent customer service and especially loved that they called to check in after the adoption to see how things were going. It’s clear they truly care about both the cats and the families adopting them. Highly recommend!”

“The annual Greek Food Festival hosted here is an incredible experience, and I recommend all Vegas locals to come here and experience some authentic Greek cuisine and culture! The music is great, the performances are fun, the shops sell interesting things (although somewhat overpriced), and the food is very good. As a Turkish girl living here, I can safely say I felt right at home :) I even bought my favorite keychain from here a few years ago!

I also recommend going on the church tour that the festival offers. It gives those who are curious an opportunity to learn about the Greek Orthodox religion and culture, and to see the inside of the church itself. Although I’m not religious, I was fascinated by the traditions of the church, and it was definitely fun to learn about!”

“I stayed at this RMHC for just over 2 months 7 years ago from Nov. 2017- Feb. 2018 while my baby was undergoing open heart surgery and fighting for his life. This place was a godsend for me. It gave me the opportunity to go sleep in a comfy bed, take hot showers, and eat delicious dinners cooked by people from all over Vegas. Though, looking back, I would have traded all those things and stayed with my son 100% of the time because he didn't make it. I met some incredible parents and staff while staying here, and it was so nice to have people who cared as I went through the toughest time. Forever in my heart.
In memory of Thane Michael ❤️”

“Came out to Vegas last minute for the holidays. My brother comes and stays every year and this year he wanted me to be there too. He flew me out and we stayed at a RV resort. The next night he brought me here! It was so pretty & loved watching all the kids with huge smiles and excitement!!! Best part, all the beautiful lights in one place! No driving neighborhoods or dealing with traffic. Back home that's what we would have to do, so we stopped after our kids were older! Thank you for the beautiful memories!”

“Care Complex provides some of the most essential services for the homeless community. From clothing, food, and showers, to haircuts and school supplies for the kids, they do it all. Care does this all through private funding with little or no help from the local government. What they manage to accomplish weekly is astounding and under-noticed.”

“Lupe reached out to our family to offer our daughter support and all I can say about her is she is pure delight! She truly cares and is so very kind. She shared valuable information to help not only our daughter but our family as well and even sent resources to us after we moved out of state in case we needed it. I wish I was able to meet her in person and give her a hug, she is a beautiful person with a huge heart!”

“What an incredible and valuable experience!! My son went through this course just recently and I’ve gotta admit I wish I’d of gone through something similar. After taking this course a couple of months ago I asked my son what his take away was after being a daily driver. He said “People are really bad drivers dad”. I realize more and more as a parent that I’m more concerned about the other people and their driving. He gained valuable life long tools to be a safe and attentive driver. We’re grateful for the experience as well as the time and effort these folks put into making our roads safe and keeping our loved ones safer.”

“My fav place to volunteer , you learn so much in a clinic environment that is more slow paced than what you expect a clinic should have. You will deal with different people depending on the day you volunteer, which helps you adapt to how to work with different physicians and different specialties . They know you are learning so they arent hard on you . They expect you to just do your best. I felt really welcomed by volunteer coordinator paula diaz she is understanding and sweet !”

“Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada is truly changing lives. The programs and experiences they offer give young people and adults the skills and confidence to succeed in the real world, from managing money to building businesses. The Inspiration Center is the heart of it all, a place where learning becomes hands-on, fun, and meaningful. It’s where students connect with mentors, explore careers, and see what’s possible for their futures. Inside the center, JA Betty’s BizTown and JA Finance Park bring education to life giving participants the chance to step into real-world roles, make financial decisions, and discover the power of their potential. You can feel the energy and purpose the moment you walk in.”

“I had the opportunity to volunteer with my co-workers, and I had not even realized there was a volunteer opportunity like Clean The World in such an accessible place in town. There was a group of about 10 of us, and the volunteer times were handled by our supervisors, so I could not explain the entire process from start to finish. If you're looking to volunteer, you can email them directly, and they will let you know when is best, and all that good stuff. We showed up to a warehouse, and greeted by someone who told us what our volunteer time would consist of. We were given bags, and crates of bottles, soaps and we had to separate and sort. It was fairly easy to do, they have these sort of woodshop tables with some thick PVC pipes that were labeled to slide the items through. It was a very exciting experience to be able to understand the difference we'd be helping out in making. The bottles and soup are reused and sent around the world to help people in need. The Clean The World staff provided us with gloves, and masks in case we wanted to cover up. We chose to do so, since most of the soaps were open, and used. Also, a lot of the debris/dust from the items would come up when the volunteers were bringing us more items to sort. The downsides I would say is there are no drinks provided. If you're planning to come, then bring your own cold drinks. There is also no AC from what we experienced, so make sure you're ready for the heat if you're volunteering during summer. Also, there were only about 2 medium sized tables for personal items, so take a fanny pack like my co-workers did, or keep your items to a minimum inside your pockets. If you're looking for a place to volunteer with loved ones, friends, co-workers, this is definitely your go to place!”
