I stayed here briefly for a few months. This place is full of black mold, people are always getting sick and they are constantly locking the place down due to covid. I was kicked out because people accused me of bullying and gossip but Im never there. They tried to tell me i couldn't leave unless I was working. They only give the women donations that they want to give out. This is the worst place ever staff is horrible and disrespectful. They don't even get proper meals.

This place has no resources and the supervisor over the case managers pam - is slow - mentally , so you know what that creates- slow case managers. They don’t really want to help anyone, very rude. Bottom line, if you want help THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO! Stay far away from here. The director is not helpful so don’t even try to climb the tree to get help, just stay away and go to another state if you can. Lazy workers.

I was Told 11/08/2023 that i could transfer From my Domestic Violence Shelter in Ohio to them in Nevada and was told i would have a room for me and my child after we got off the flight.. i was stranded at the airport and was told 11/10/2023 my room was given away and so they could not help us. I'm very disappointed because they didn't have the common decency to call to let me know i would have to make other arrangements for me and my child. My daughter is 3 years old by the way! And they even spoke to my Domestic Violence shelter!

I would like to say "thank you" in advance to all of the former and current employees of The Shade Tree who will be sharing their experience working there, shedding light on the harassment, cruelty, and inhumane conditions that the women and children have endured and still are enduring. Thank you for cooperating with the Office of the Inspector General at the Justice Department, letting them know about the misappropriation of funds and donations. I am grateful for you standing up for these women and children who deserve better from a FEDERALLY FUNDED organization. I would also like to thank the EMTs who are there on a daily basis for women and children who get incredibly ill from the black mold, backed up sewage, undercooked pork and chicken, etc. Thank you to the ones who will be sharing what they have witnessed at The Shade Tree. I am grateful for the police officers who knew the founder of The Shade Tree, Bonnie Polley, who worked as a Chaplain at the LVMPD for 40 years as a volunteer, an incredibly kind hearted woman who started The Shade Tree because she cared so much about healing and empowering women and children. Thank you to the cops who will be standing up for women and children, protecting and serving them, because they know it's the right thing to do, and to honor Bonnie. May she rest in peace.Nevada Question 1, the Equality of Rights Amendment, was on the ballot as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment on November 8, 2022. It was approved. Nevada Senator Pat Spearman, a sponsor of the amendment, said, "We've waited long enough for equal rights to be incorporated into our state constitution … We must be brave in protecting the weak, the downtrodden, the oppressed. We must be brave in lifting our fellow Nevadans to a place of justice and equality." And on May 18th of this year, the Biden Administration launched ALL INside, a federal plan to prevent and end homelessness. The White House wants state governments, local leaders, non profits, all of us, to work together with sincerity and kindness. I thank all of you who genuinely care about the plight of homeless women and children. This city needs more angels like you. God Bless

Donated a vehicle. They picked it...never supplied a receipt. When contacted to get one (after several calls) no one ever followed up. I would not recommend donating a vehicle or anything of similar type of donation unless you are prepared to have this happen to you.

The staff were extremely rude and unnecessarily rude! They gave off “slave master” vibes. The women and children who have to stay there clearly just left a bad situation and are down in life at the moment, why make their lives harder? The amount of power tripping that takes place there is sickening! God sits high but he looks low. Mistreating victims of abuse and their children will eventually catch up to them!

I worked at Noah's House when it was pretty new, many years ago. We took good care of the animals, and I thought that it was wonderful that they were providing the service for women who had enough problems already.I met a few of the women when they came in to visit and one complaint that I heard consistently was about the bed bugs.

Do not work here! This place takes advantage of their employees. The HR is best friends with CEO coming from the same company in Chicago. HR tells Linda about situations and both laugh about bad situations that goes on there. The HR does not know anything and is an air head. The HR Jody includes herself as part of a team helping out but in reality she demands and takes the credit. Jody has no HR experience. If your not part of the their click they barely acknowledge you. Employees get hurt there and have their own personal insurance cover it instead of workers Comp. Money that is suppose to go to the employees to show appreciation is kept for higher management themselves and do not acknowledge or appreciate their current employees. This should be reported to the labor board/ labor commissioner of all the things that goes on here in this facility. facility. This company needs a new CEO and HR. New management has to take place. I will report this place.

It's the missinformation and waste of my time and bus fare that prompted me to write this review. I was sent here by a case manager for shelter on 5/21 and although their website says you can come 24 hours a day if in need of shelter I was advised that was incorrect and you can only come mon-fri between the hours of 10am-12pm. I was also advised they only have top bunks available so if I didn't mind that to come back the next day. I returned the next day @10:39 to be advised that there is no space and turned away. I could have saved my time and money coming here and looked for shelter elsewhere.

Believe the reviews staff is nasty and do not want to help. Attention seeking superior attitudes. Lady came to the gate said i can only be there if i stay 90 days gave a referral that said up to 30 then lied and said she didnt say that when i called it out nicely. She kept apply that i need to show proof that i work from home (which i can dummy thats no issue) and stated the director will turn me around due to my “lack of needing assistance” when I literally had no place to live. I wish i could give 0 stars for her lack of empathy, lies, and blatant ignorance to the situation without trying to hear my situation. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE.

I had a bunch of brand new items that I wanted to donate to the shade tree to help the women and the children in need. The receptionist was incredibly rude and after reading all of these reviews, I will be giving my stuff elsewhere, because I want to make sure that it goes to those in need. This place needs a complete overhaul.

I was so disappointed I called them because I had items I wanted to donate to the shelter and I was told go to the website and schedule an appointment . The only available appointment was May 7th 2023. They would not accept the items before this date...
