“Showed up with a inverter problem, turns out it was fried. Told the guy I could come back thru after loading in CAli if he could get the part within a day or two. Called back later that day and they already had the new inverter in. I Showed up next morning and was out with a new inverter installed 2.5 hrs total. Thank you”

“I've rented moving trucks from the big three. Penske is the best! I had a front tire blow out in the middle of nowhere. On the shoulder with trucks and cars speeding inches by, the truck rocking from the air wave of each passing vehicle. With all of my possessions inside. I called Penske. Within an hour, a mechanic came and replaced the tire. The mechanic wouldn't even take a tip, and Penske didn't charge me for the tire! I had to use the truck an extra day. Because I had to rest, and I had no help unloading the truck. I called Penske customer service. They understood and let me return the truck a day late. Again, they didn't charge me for the extra day! I read other reviews that complained about Penske being expensive. The truck rental business is all about supply and demand. The price I paid was competitive with other truck rentals. Add great customer service, and you can get one from your local Home Depot. Then, they stand above the rest. I will never rent a truck from anyone else! Penske, Penske, Penske!!!!!”

Outstanding customer service experience from the rental to picking up the vehicle. “The gentleman showed us the unit. He got us into the system for access. The unit was clean. There were no specials for the size unit we got. I was looking forward to having one free month. I would have liked if the unit wasn't on the third floor.Update: The 10x30 at some locations is $500+. I was paying $379 for the same size unit with a brand competitor, and I was a long-term tenant. The rental amount would still be under $500 for a new tenant. I only moved from that storage company because I was tired of all the dirt, and they kept increasing their prices every 6 months.I'm renting two storages of the same size (10x15) in different locations and different rental amounts with Smart Storage and still paying under $500. The 10x30 would still cost too much, and it still wouldn't be large enough. I would reconsider when the rental amount is where I can afford it.Update 11/23/23: Their 10x30 internet price is (or was) less than $400. I quickly reserved one so I can merge my storages.”
