Renown’s Healthy Nevada Project (Genetic Research) offers no-cost genetic testing for adults 18+ in Reno. Through this research study, you’ll gain insights into your ancestry, wellness, and genetic risks for conditions such as heart disease, certain cancers, and fatty liver disease. Your results can help you and your family make informed health decisions — while giving your providers valuable information to personalize your care plan. Key Services: - Genetic testing for hereditary conditions (including heart disease and cancer risks) - Research opportunities through the Healthy Nevada Project and related sub-studies (such as the M/NASH liver health study)

This was great. My results took a while longer. I took in May and got results in November but worth the wait. I have the BRCA 2 mutation and elected for preventive surgery. I had all my kids take the test and now we wait again.
