The worst. Flight delayed and spent one hour trying to reach them with no ability to speak with a live person. When I arrived 10 minutes after midnight, Budget, Avis, and Enterprise all had agents and said: “Hertz just left”- stranding all of their customers.

Hertz is garbage! I booked a reservation and went to pick up the car but when I got there, the lady at the front desk told me they’re not accepting my reservation and that I could come back tomorrow to pick up a vehicle if I still wanted one. What’s the point of making a reservation then if you’re not going to honor them? I also called the customer service line to cancel my reservation and the lady who answered the phone was rather useless when I asked why my reservation was not being honored. Instead, she canceled the reservation and hung up on me, which made me even more mad than I already was. I’d give 0/5 stars if I could.

Cancelled because my flight lands at 11:56 and Hertz closes at midnight. There is no phone number to the Reno location, only the customer service line. I called in asking to add a driver since I'm a Presidents Club member, and they denied me and told me I had to wait to check in, in person. They also charged me $100 to cancel when it would've been impossible to pick up my car on the pickup date. Never renting from Hertz again.

Gave me an electric vehicle and didn’t inform me even though my preference is standard auto. Requires electric vehicle be fully charged upon return but there are very limited options for charging and all are slow (~5 hours for a full charge). Staff at the counter is unable to do basic things like change the credit card on file, forcing the customer to call a 1-800 number and waiting 15 minutes. Car smelled like cigarettes. It is impossible to talk to someone at Hertz through the 1800 number unless you are making or changing a reservation. You absolutely can’t contact anyone at this local office through their number. Even the road side service said they are rarely able to actually contact a manager at any location. Basically all you can do is go back to the airport and talk to them. Hertz used to be my go to. I would avoid this location and this company at all costs. Gold is worthless.

I’ve cancelled a reserve ration 2 time and still getting reminders to pick up the car weeks later.Can’t wait to see if I’m billed for it.

This place double charged me instead of just putting down the deposit.Are you guys going to make it right? Because I keep hearing I will hear from management like in your response below but I have not heard from them?

Beware they push off electric cars on you claiming it’s the same as a gas car. Giant up-charge for gasoline car. If I wanted an electric car I would have rented one.

I reserved a car ahead of time. Once I got there the service was great. I got the car quick and didn't have to wait forever. The return of the vehicle was even faster and very convenient. Will definitely be using them for my upcoming work trips.
