Nevada Humane Society is a charitable, non-profit organization and the only open-admission, no-kill shelter in the state of Nevada. They help more than 18,000 pets in need every year and have been serving the Northern Nevada community for over 90 years. The facility is described as huge, with lots of different rooms and various stimulation items for all cats and kittens. While they had no kittens available during one visit, the environment is reported to be very clean and happy. The staff is helpful, and visitors can choose from a range of cats and kittens, from 2 months to 4 years old. Customers have expressed great satisfaction with their adopted pets, describing them as their "best friends" and "baby boys." The Nevada Humane Society is praised for its worthwhile work and is recommended as a place to donate old blankets, towels, and leashes to help keep the animals warm.
