Hours: Truckee Meadows Water Authority provides office service that is nice and helpful. When a payment issue arises, they say that mail delay issues can occur and suggest Auto Pay to avoid threatening letters. Calls about leaks are answered quickly; a person is sent the same day and the problem is evaluated and fixed, often at zero cost. The friendly woman on the phone is polite, concerned and takes information, then the issue is solved shortly thereafter. The water rights help desk gives clear and excellent direction for new improvements. Transfers of service to a new rental are walked through with charm, wit and a sense of humor, process is wonderful. Meter leaks are evaluated on a weekend and replaced without charge, even if concrete work takes a few weeks because of a backlog. Add a wife to an account is followed by a Congratulations card, a note that family members often do not send. The service is fast, friendly and amazing.
