Verizon customer service is a dumpster fire and that’s being generous.

Eriberto's service was fast, but it felt like he was more focused on getting us out of the way than actually helping us. He provided incorrect and unclear information, which ended up costing us both time and money. We had to contact corporate to undo his mistake, something that could have been easily avoided if he had done his job properly. While Eriberto was friendly, don't mistake that for competence—he clearly lacked knowledge about the plans and promotions and didn’t seem interested in providing the help we needed. I would avoid him if you can; all the other associates who did help us there though were great though, same goes for corporate.

TLDR; They canceled our phone upgrade and tried to charge us $300 to continue. No apology or attempt to rectify their mistake was made.
We placed a trade in order online and were instructed, both in our online order and by the store where we picked up our new phones, to drop our old phones at this corporate location.
The associate experienced some issues and ended up canceling our trade ins, without notifying us.
We asked him to undo it, he couldn’t… We asked him to work it out with corporate, he declined…
Even after speaking with the manager, his only resolution - to offer us a lesser trade in deal for all three phones - a loss of $300 total. And then file a claim with corporate in hopes of a refund.
We called the loyalty number and are in the midst of fixing this mess. When I left, the manager was defensive and rude, claiming they “didn’t do anything” to the account. Well, the online paper trail - and phone reps - all confirm that the store rep canceled our trade in orders.
I would avoid this location at all costs and attempt to complete your trade in over the phone if you can.
But overall, we’ve spent over 48 hours talking to half a dozen Verizon reps for a simple phone upgrade. Every single person has told us something different. I can’t recommend Verizon as a whole after this experience.

I got my iPhone 16 pro max yesterday and started to transfer my apps/photos/files to the new phone. It’s taking forever to upload the apps and I went to the smith ridge location. The person(I forgot to take his name) said that he will be charging me $29.99 if it will take him more time to fix the problem. I said no and he took my phone, I thought he’s trying find the problem. Once he gave me back my phone I noticed that he have added a bunch of apps, mostly games so that my phone will take forever to finish the download. What kind of costumer service is this? I’ve been with Verizon for more than 12 years and this is what I get from their people.

They’ve got a new manager, Marshall, and he’s excellent to work with. The challenge is that Verizon corporate really limits what the in-store employees can do. Their business representative is no longer with the company, which is the best thing to happen to this store.

As soon as you walk into this store you're not greeted with one smile. It's like they all hate their job there. Unfortunate.

Waited for over an hour just to be told I wasn’t an account manager, which could have been told to me when I checked in if that’s the case. Very unhelpful.

I hope to never have to go into this or any other Verizon store. They lie to you about the specials they have for internet. They told me it would be a 30 day trail and if I don’t like it then I can return it within thirty days and it won’t cost me anything. Wasn’t true. They charge me well over my monthly payment after I turned it in and Verizon said well they should have told you they would just slowly give credit to the account. Ridiculous. They will say anything to get more money from you.

We were looking to upgrade a new phone from iPhone 13 to iPhone 15 Pro. Malia was the person to help us she is a very good salesperson tried to convince to buy a lot of things we didn’t need, I’ll give her that. Anyways, she explained things very well about the phone, but when we actually got to the transaction she gave us a $800 off (this is a trade in) which she never asked if we wanted to do that and she assumed that was the plan. We didn’t want to give the iPhone 13 as it was going to my family as a gift. She didn’t know anything about our plan and claimed we have a data limit she could lower our monthly bill, but we have had unlimited data for probably over a decade now. She didn’t have enough knowledge about the international data/talk plan when mentioning it she said “it’s a part of your plan” assuming she meant for 5 phones but no, it’s an only 1 phone she never clearly mentioned that. We were thinking that is a good deal what we are paying for monthly but none that is not the case. Also, she didn’t know a lot about how a SIM card would work if we didn’t do the plan. Not sure what her problem was, but she kept setting a timer for how long we could talk like you’re trying to make a sale just be focused on that instead of your time. But we ended up finalizing a transaction but the service was terribly unfortunate.

Most terrible service, Blake Davis treated me like I was a push around. He didn't know how the sales went, he overcharging me, gangstalked my phone with a bad sim card and tried to charge me for a phone I didn't buy yet, not to mention he rushed me out of the store when there was 1hour left, a total waste of time. I will never go back there again, a total disgrace to the light of the world, shame on you

After making an appointment and following all the instructions provided in the email after making the appointment, I showed up on time to be told there was no one available to help me currently. Once someone became available, he was QUICK to tell me I hadn’t secured the proper authorization to switch my phone over, and offered zero in store solutions. Thank you for the giant waste of time, Verizon.

Everyone in the store is always rude. Go to a different store, these people don't want your business
