Ryan's team fit me in right away and got the door so that it would seal reasonably well so I could get home, even though he knew I would not be using his shop for the actual repair. Great service. Great advice. Hopefully, I won't need body work in Tahoe again, but if I do, I wouldn't go anywhere else.”

“My van's battery icon lit up when we arrived here in Lake Tahoe last Saturday..... it disappeared after awhile, but the next day it lit up again. Since we were driving back to Los Angeles today (Monday), I called AAA to check the battery.... and it was diagnosed as problem with the alternator. I called Lake Tahoe Automotive, and they told me to bring the van in. They even ordered the alternator right away prior to my arrival to facilitate the repair. When I got to the shop, they finished the repair in less than an hour. They were so efficient and nice, very good customer service! And the price is paid for the repair was fair enough. Highly recommended!”

“Excellent overall service. On my to visiting Lake Tahoe I had a leak in my tire, the valve stem failed. I called, picked up immediate, schedule a time for drop off and notified me when the service was done. This place was busy, it’s obviously a great shop. They have a board listing all the appointments on display. I found them by chance and recommend them highly.”
“We were in town on vacation from San Antonio and had some car issues on our last day. Steve was able to diagnose and fix our suv within a few hours. Other places told us that they wouldn’t be able to get us seen for a week! He was friendly and took his time to talk to us. We definitely recommend this shop if you’re having car issues. “I went to Lake tahoe on business stayed 3 nights on our last day there. my check engine light came on.we went to O'Reilly to get a diagnostic check they said we should get the car checked out by a mechanic before heading home since we had a 7 and a half hour drive.we drove to 3 shops and they did not want to help us everyone said we needed and appointment. We went to norms as our last resort to see if they could help.we were giving up hope but thank God that the lady that was there and the mechanic helped us out and explained that I had nothing to worry about with the check engine light it would be ok to drive home. What I am trying to say is that if u are ever in lake tahoe and need an honest and trustworthy mechanic please don't wate your time going anywhere else go to norms they are amazing people.”

“This review is for Les Schwab South Shore Lake Tahoe. On a month-long trip towing a small trailer our brake pad indicator light came on (on the way from Yosemite to Tahoe). We took the car into Les Schwab for a free brake inspection, which they promptly did. Erik came over to give us the news that our brakes were badly worn and unlikely to safely endure the journey home. He immediately ordered the parts for next day service. This was July 2. We brought our car back next day and entered it into a long queue for brake jobs July 3. We got a call mid day from Les Schwab to say that it was unlikely it would be done that day. We were in a pickle as we had nowhere to stay over the July 4th weekend due to this unexpected development. I called back and spoke to Devon who assured me that he was working on our car and it would be finished within a few hours. He found that he needed to order a different set of calipers mid-job; did so and worked diligently until after hours to make sure our car was safe and functional. This experience was fantastic! These guys went above and beyond for us and we are grateful beyond words!!”

“We enjoyed our stay. A few things could make it more comfortable. Adding Ping pong in the game room another activity.
The condo really needs more blankets. 2nd room was so cold and barely any heat coming out of vent. My son had to sleep in the living room. Loved the fire place. Grandson loved the nature. Enjoyed the fitness room. We eventually will come back. Thank you.”

“We sheered off and messed up our wheel studs while out on vacation. These guys were able to get us in and get the studs fixed quickly. They were not able to find same color lug nuts for us but went out of their way to spray paint them to match. Highly recommend as a shop that is good people that go the extra mile to help out those in need while providing thoughtful service at a good price. Much appreciated.”
