“Really great experience. The hotel is new and modern with very attentive staff. The view is incredible. The best part was by far spending time at the bar. Hasim is a real gem. He has incredible knowledge of everything in his bar. There is not a spirit that they serve that they have not tried and believe in. It was so refreshing having a knowledgeable bar staff at a resort in a tourist location. They have experience from all over the US running very successful bar programs and are happy to chat about all the offerings. They will also provide you with off menu cocktails from any of the classics to more modern riffs. I can’t praise the bar staff enough. Thanks!!Nearby activities: Great shuttle access to all of South Lake Tahoe”

“A fantastic VI Resort. As always, the condo had everything needed for a comfortable stay and was very clean. The staff are kind and helpful. Our 2 bedroom unit was spacious and had very cute decor. The fitness room was small yet well equipped. My husband was able to catch the shuttle right outside to ski at Heavenly. We look forward to visiting again.”

“Came here with my girlfriend and her family just before Christmas, could not have asked for a better place to stay. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable, hot water works VERY well. Highly recommend!Rooms: Clean and comfortable, walls are kinda thin but not problematically so.Nearby activities: Skiing, of course, but a lot of family activities in Tahoe.Food & drinks: There are a TON of food and drink options nearby, very easy to eat somewhere different every day.”

“The staff were very nice. At about $120 a night for a big two bedroom condo with a jacuzzi and washer/dryer, this was obscenely good value for Tahoe. The only problem was that a lot of the vertical blinds were missing. This seems like a really easy fix. Otherwise the condo was well maintained.”

“Nice little condo for our week stay. The condo has a kitchen with everything we needed to cook lunch or dinner. The bathroom was small but it's fine since it fit my two kids. I appreciated the washer and dryer in unit!!”

“This was my second stay here. Had a beautiful 3rd floor view of Lake Tahoe. The room was like a new upscale apartment. It was cold at night, but the room had a much appreciated gas fireplace. The staff as always, was very friendly and accommodating. The drive up Kingsbury Grade here was not bad, especially since we didn't have to deal with snow on this trip.”

“I really liked staying at this place during my Tahoe ski trips. The rooms were clean and functional - nothing fancy. Hot tub was great. I couldn't handle the casino area because of the smoke, but it seemed nice in there too. I'm really disappointed to see that it is now closed. I'll have to stay at MB a little to the West and I don't like giving them my $$$ bc they're so corporate. Oh well, another Covid victim - too bad they couldn't get a PPP loan.”

“I was lucky to win a small jackpot! Pragna was the attendant that payed me out. She has worked at Harrah’s for many years and has always been friendly and provided wonderful service, as do many of the employees here.”

“We had an incredible stay at this large hotel in the heart of South Lake Tahoe! The location was unbeatable, right in the midst of all the action. The amenities were amazing, from the spacious rooms to the top-notch service. The hotel staff was friendly and attentive, making our experience even more enjoyable. I especially loved the breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding mountains. You've also got many food options in the hotel and at a short walk. It was a truly unforgettable experience, and I can't wait to visit again!”

“I miss the totems that welcome families to the resort. If they could stop being as aggressive with their sales pitches to people who have owned for more than a decade, that would be great.”

“Regularly come here for a few days and always enjoy it. Room fees and parking can get expensive if you don't have a higher teir players club card. Casino used to have 5 and 10 cent video poker but not any more, arcade is a lot of fun.Rooms: Decent if you can deal.”

“This hotel is in the middle of a rebranding from the Hard Rock Hotel to the Golden Nugget so some things were understandably not in the best condition. When we checked in, the room we were assigned was in rough shape. The room service was not finished (the bed sheets and towels were all in a pile on the floor) and the window had been cracked open with the heater on full blast, resulting in full condensation all around the window with water damage on the window sill. We had also requested a Lakeview but the view on the 8th floor was basically blocked by the other hotel building. After mentioning this to the hotel registration, we were assigned a new room that was much nicer and we also had our resort fees waved. Additionally, the front desk manager was incredibly understanding and went above and beyond in making sure to follow up with us afterward to make sure we were satisfied. Now that's what I call hospitality!”
