“I really like this gas station. The prices are low, and there are several fast food restaurants around where you can grab a meal. It’s the cheapest gas station near the California border, and I always stop here on my way to Lake Tahoe.”

“Dude, I had a crazy night! Total emergency. Drove nine hours in the mountains, got a tire chain stuck, and had a panic attack. Drove five miles with it hanging off, then pulled into the first gas station – this one – at 5 am on Sunday. No one answered my calls, I was desperate. This long-haired guy working there – a lifesaver! – got it off for me, even though it was snowing and raining. He totally saved my night, my car, and my money. Seriously, we need more people like him. I'm so grateful, man! ?”

“Clean open restrooms. Plenty of parking. Lots of stuff in convenience store. Gas is a bit more pricey here but you can sign up for their fuel rewards program to get 5 cents off per gallon.”

“The reason I like this gas station is because where you can air up your tires and vacuum out your car always works.I notice other air stations weren't working or someone cut off the air hose.”

“This Maverik is one of their smallest stations. It is difficult to enter & exit unless you're driving down Sharlands towards Robb Drive. The intersection of Ambassador & Sharlands is hazardous due to visability issues & heavy traffic flow. Although it's already showing it's age, the store and restrooms are clean. Expect convenience store prices. Fuel costs are usually 40+ cents a gallon higher than the three membership stores in our area. Their club discount card once gave you 4 cents a gallon discount on fuel & now it's 2 cents. On October 4, 2012, Flying J Management re-entered the convenience store market with its purchase of Maverik Inc. Maverik operates more than 370 locations in the western United States. Reno & Sparks have more than a dozen outlets.”

“I've been using Maverik for years now. I go there for gas and use their card that saves some bucks throughout the year. A great and easy plan to set up.I also stop there for their amazing breakfast burritos. They also heave a great selection of snack and beers. Even salads if you forgot to pack a lunch.Staff has always been friendly.I like the adventurous design inside their store.”

“I think it's important sometimes to update reviews especially when it seems that they have worked on an issue you have complained about in the past.

I left a review a few months ago about the employees being rude and generally unfriendly.

I'd like to leave a new review because the last couple trips I have had great interaction with the employees. Twice it was the same gentleman there early in the morning on Saturday about 7:30 a.m. who is super friendly and always seems pretty jovial and kind.

And this morning when I entered the store it was a different young man who was also very kind and friendly.

There used to be an older gentleman who works graveyard who was all so pleasant but it's been a long time since I've gone in during those hours.

Anyway just wanted to thank you for the good attitudes and kind demeanors I encountered during my last couple visits.”

“My daughter and I chose this location to participate in the BYO CUP day that 7eleven does annually! Also for me to get my discounted gas with 7eleven rewards! We walked in with to 3L pitchers to fill up and they were a little too big so we filled to the 2L line! The clerk was nice to let it slide, since they were technically too tall for the 10" limit. We left with smiles and a full tank of gas!”
