“We found ourselves locked out of our car because of a dead key fob battery. With three small kids and a hot day, it was not an ideal situation. Phil, the owner of the Maverick, noticed our situation and gave the girls stress balls to squeeze with some candy and offered and did go down to get a new battery for my key fob. It was an extraordinary experience for me. The employees of that Maverik said “That’s just the way he is.”
The station was clean, neat and well kept and had everything we needed, including a great owner!”
“Water available for fill-up but it is NON- POTABLE! If you want to fill up tanks that may be drunk from, don't do it here. Other than that, very nice, friendly staff and service.”
“Really good Travel Center, tons of pumps around. Inside was good too, beside from the smoky smell from the casino, lots of snacks and drinks to choose from and when checking out the guy actually pointed out a hole in the bag for me to get a new one which not much gas stations do for me.
Over all good experience.”

“Ms. Q. In the Carl’s Jr side of the Loves is the hardest worker I’ve ever seen! She is so sweet and pleasant to see after a long day of traveling. She was doing the jobs of several people but still managed to have the biggest smile on her face while helping my family. She was so kind to my two little girls. The world needs more people like her.”
