We had about 70 guests for our reception at the Idle Hour and received so many compliments on how great the taco bar was and how kind the staff was. Karla did a great job to work within our budget and offered customized quoting for our event. I must also say that Cork & More is a fantastic place to stop for a sandwich on a normal day or for fun artisanal goodies if you're in the South Lake Tahoe area.”

“Awesome little gem in Stateline. They have groceries, beer, wine, souvenirs. But the part is the staff! Truly awesome! We visit Tahoe often and this is our go to spot. We recently played Music Trivia with Greg that was sooo much fun. We stayed and played about 40 mins! Great time, they always have great tunes playing!”

“I have been shopping at this establishment for almost three years now. King's is by far the best liquor store in town, their selections of beer and wine is incredible. The Gentlemen here are truly best in town, the reviews stating that the staff/owner are rude or unpleasant are completely false. Any time I have come in I have NEVER had a bad experience. Their prices are fair and competitive for the local market. Don't waste your time or money at any other place!”

“This is my favorite local liquor store if I'm being honest it's so conveniently placed between a CVS, a dispensary, a smoke shop and a few hotels and restaurants. The owner and the staff here are always friendly always have a smile on their face and are always super helpful we have made friends with them over the years and frequent this store. While the outside may look a little rundown inside you will find one of the nicest liquor store experiences in South Lake Tahoe The owner and his family are great people. They have great variety not only in non-alcoholic beverages but an alcoholic beverages and spirits as well and the owner takes recommendations for new items and drinks to be brought into the store which I deeply appreciate. I highly recommend them if you are coming into town or if you live here and you just need something to drink go here and grab it!”

“Mini Mecca! Walked in and saw a last chance rack, picked up a blue corn mini. Then I spied the word "minis" and wow, what a fun selection. My sparkling water is in for a treat. I picked up extras for stocking stuffers to put away. Only complaint is I had no idea there was a 10 for $10 - some signage would have been helpful.”

“After dinner, I dropped in with my partner for some groceries for breakfast the next morning. Got eggs, bread, orange juice, and champagne for a great price. We entered our rewards number which took off almost $12. The store was surprisingly busy for a Monday night at 8 o'clock however, there were several check stands open with short lines. Our cashier was friendly and chatted with us while speedily checking our items. The store was clean and the shelves were neat and stocked.”
