“We had a great experience , one as a first timer. The setup and interior are exactly what you'd think of when throwing Axe's. We were walk-ins and were quickly helped and they made room for us. Josh was super cool to talk to and learn from in sharing techniques. We will be back for sure - had a good time.”

“Pros: Great location - very walkable. Clean rooms, clean pools. If you like doughnuts, you'll enjoy the breakfast. Nice staff - cute dog in the lobby.
Cons: LOUD. Housekeeping starts working at 7AM, slamming doors, pushing carts, talking loudly, playing music, and they do not stop until nearly midnight. It sucks to be woken up every morning at 7AM while on vacation and kept up because of housekeeping.
Other than the noise issue, we had a good stay. If we stay here again, it will only be if we are guaranteed a room on the opposite side of the building away from housekeeping headquarters.”

“My daughter had her ceremony here in September. You are 100% paying for the view and it is beautiful. Communication with the staff leading up to the wedding was fine. The staff the day of was okay..but we do have a few big complaints. They started taking away the chairs 30 minutes before our time was up..the photos were still being done and in the video all you see is the staff moving all the chairs. There was no wedding after ours so not sure what the big hurry was for the time we had paid for. Several guests had to use a bathroom and walked down the beach to the bathroom and were turned away by the lakeside beach staff saying they were for “guests of the beach”. Our daughter wanted to get just a few photos on the beach before our time slot was even over but you have to pay $30 per person to go on the beach outside of the arch area. That was insane..it was the middle of September at 4:30 pm and the beach was almost empty. We paid $3500 and you would think that would let you have a few minutes at another area on the beach the ceremony spot is attached to.”
“Such a beautiful golf course and the nicest staff members. We played all 18 holes for our friend’s wedding weekend and we had a blast! I never played before so they gave a few tips overall- we tee’d off at 9am and I think we wrapped up by 11:45ish. It rained while playing but it cleared quickly. Sidney came around on the beverage cart and she was amazing too!”

“We enjoyed our time here at Heavenly Valley. Parking was very convenient we were able to park right in front of our room. We had a cute little room with a fire place and kitchenette. It was quite cozy and very clean. The housekeeper Rosy went out of her way to let us know we left a blanket behind and offered to bring it to us next time she was in our home town. Thank you Rosy! I highly recommend if you’re coming to south lake.”

“Stayed for a weekend trip and the location and value were perfect! Rooms were clean and homey, and the staff were so kind. Not only did they make sure the whole stay ran smoothly, they were super quick and helpful when I realized I had left my wallet behind, and shipped it to me asap. A nice place ran by lovely people!”
