Booked an appointment to discuss hiring a financial advisor, I met with Michael who answered all my questions and said that he would assign me one, that I would receive an email from one in the next few days. That was nearly three weeks ago. I got no response from emailing their customer support line so I decided to call the number listed as the branch customer support, which turned out to be the general RBC number. After calling the RBC number, I later found out that he never put in a request for one. The hour and a half wait time was definitely not worth hearing news that I basically had my time wasted. Will be going in tomorrow during my work hours to demand they get on top of it

I don't understand why when I call them i can't talk to a person, why do I have to talk to this recording just to tell the person that works there the same thing.

I feel like this place ripped me off. It should be illegal to make someone have a mandatory line of credit and visa card when applying for a mortgage. I only wanted a house to live in. Now I have no house, no inheritance money, and $22k in debt thanks to the economy and RBC the LOAN SHARK!

Thus bank has very good staff. They are courteous and professional and the actually see my care about their customers. They were able to help me when two other banks said they couldn't. It's nice to have a bank you can count on to go the extra mile.
