“One of the better market baskets, like any MB you want to avoid Sundays and days before snow storms. But the choices here my god, they have a whole pizza oven, sushi bar, bakery, hot wing bar, seafood, deli, butcher. I could eat here every day and never get sick of the options. Maria the cashier is the sweetest lady, she spends your check out experience narrating her day as it goes...I couldn't get enough of this lady! Thank you Maria for being kind to me and making my check out process entertaining. 👍”
“Woah ?! This Hannaford reminded me of the Hannaford in York Maine except that;
A) It has what looks like a grill at the entrance by the produce section.
B) There is a dining area.
C) There is pizza ? which I think ?? my kids would love!
(I have not visited the York Hannaford lately so they may have changed.) It does remind me of the Hannaford in Exeter and Derry.
A pharmacy, lottery tickets, prepared food, Snowfox Sushi ? , bakery, curbside pickup and quite a few self checkout registers are also available.
I occasionally see ? competitive prices at Hannaford compared to Walmart or Market Basket ?. But I prefer the bakery ? at Hannaford.
I have to keep this place in mind for pizza for my kids.”
“This is my go to pit stop when traveling in the area. It is right on Route 101, has ample free parking, a clean restroom with a diaper changing station, and friendly staff. Unlike the Starbucks in Philadelphia they do not care if you use the bathroom without buying anything. If I do happen to need a snack or something small I will get it while here, but prices are expensive as at all Hannaford's so you are better off doing your regular grocery trips at Market Basket.”
“Such a beautiful loction, so many great stores to check out and having lunch at Carrabba's after is the perfect day. There is a baby bunny that hangs out at Carrabbas.”
“I love that Market Basket doesn't have self serve when checking out! I like to go to an actual cashier. The roasted chicken is great! Their orange juice is the best I've ever tasted!! The bakery is delicious! Wish they had paper bags like Whole Foods. I really don't like the plastic bags they have so I bring my own! Prices are very good!!The only complaint would be the attitude from employees there. Just went there. Said good morning to the cashier and silence! I said thank you and silence! She had attitude with the bagger as well! Cashiers are not friendly!!”
“I’ve really enjoyed the summer season with all the fresh, delicious melons and peaches. Unfortunately, this season I’ve been very disappointed with some of the melons I’ve purchased—they were rubbery and had very little taste. I’ve also had peaches that turned brown and green after washing them.
Isaiah, however, was a bright spot in my shopping experience. He was very polite, helpful, and more than willing to go check for me. When he came back and I saw that he had found exactly what I was looking for, I was one very happy customer!
