Utterly fascinating tour of how tree sap is converted to maple syrup and other products. Brad & Jo Presby explained how time and labor intensive the process was. While you don’t see the actual trees that supply the raw ingredient, the rest of the process (and challenges that go with it) are shared. The equipment was all food grade stainless and well maintained. The pride and attention to detail are very evident. As much art of craftsmanship as science of food production. As of this writing, they only asked $5 per person for the tour, you must call ahead. You’ll spend far more on product for sale and not regret it, either. Cash/credit cards ok.About two hours duration.

I had an appointment here to do a Maple Tasting and the owners were a no show. Not even a call or text and my friend and I drove an hour north out of our way to experience this.

This was, hands down, the best quality tour I have ever been on in the entirety of my existence. Brad, the owner, had so many colorful stories, pieces of knowledge, and profusions of passion about the world of Maple Syrup, that I practically feel like I am part of the syrup world now. He gives the cozy little tour right on his property, and you learn all about the machinery, the history, and even the sordid politics of the New England Syrup world. He told beautiful, tender tales of his five generations of family that have been in the syrup business and about the hard work and dedication that was passed down the bloodline. It's all sort of like spending some time with the ultimate Maple Syrup Uncle. You will fall in love with him, his farm, and his sweet wife. DO THIS TOUR. It heightened our whole trip!!

We called in at the offchance for some maple syrup during our stay in the White Mountains, visiting from the UK. Luckily for us a tour started just as we arrived. Had an unexpectedly lovely afternoon hearing all about how maple syrup is made and the family and their business ventures. Also had some delicious maple syrup to taste and came away with plenty of gifts. Thanks for a great day!

Holy cow! Jo and Brad are amazing. What a wonderful tour, and we got to learn some seriously cool history about this family and their participation in the industry and the local community. I learned way more about maple syrup than I planned on when we pulled up to this place. Couldn't be happier that we found them, and we already want to go back. Also, delicious product. We promptly cooked up some pancakes to test after leaving, right in the middle of the afternoon, and we were not disappointed.

We had a great time! The tour was informative and interesting for the adults and at the mean time the kids enjoyed running around and playing with the swings and tractors. Jo was really sweet and gave as the feeling we are part of the sugaring family! And ofcourse... the Maple syrup is heavenly!Highly recommended! (Important to book in advance)

The tour was great for us adults but long winded for my son. He loved running around and looking at the tractors though. The owners were very nice and helpful. We probably would have purchased more syrup if we were able to taste it. We'll try it out when we get home and compare it with the Vermont and Maine maple syrups we purchased on our trip.
