“I’ve been bringing my cars to Sams Euro Shop for many years now and I can’t recommend them highly enough. They have that rare combination of competence and honesty that everyone seeks and sadly few receive. They take pride in their work and it always shows.
Most of my visits are just oil changes, but they’ll still give the cars a look-over. If something is showing signs of wear whether it’s brakes or a water pump, they’ll let me know before it actually needs to be addressed (and not just because of the manufacturer’s recommended service intervals). I’ve never had a surprise service.
They’re a small shop, so they don’t have a dedicated front desk person or a fleet of loaner cars. That’ll be a concern for some, but that small inconvenience is more than made up for by the level of service delivered.
Thanks to Sams Euro, I’ve been able to continue to confidently enjoy my out of warranty VWs for far longer than I originally planned, and we’ve even done a few mods along the way to keep things fun.
If you want an honest mechanic who truly knows European cars, this is the place.”
