“If there were a Market Basket closer to me, I would shop there all the time. In every department the selections are great. Produce is fresh. Meats look great. Every member of the staff I have dealt with has been very polite and more than willing to go out of their way to help me find what I need, or to answer questions about an item. Highly recommend.”
“I really like this Market Basket. It's big, it's clean, it's always stocked very well even on weekends anytime of day. All the employees are very polite, friendly and hard working people that keep this store looking fantastic! I would rather go out of my way to use this store than the 2 store's closer to me in Concord for a few reasons. The 1st being that it's larger and seems to allow a larger inventory as well as keep things better in stock on a regular basis not to mention the isles feel less crowded and congested. The 2nd bring there is a larger selection of fresh hot food and/or meals on the go like pizza, soups, rotisserie chicken, salads, pasta salads, sandwiches and chicken tenders. It would be a great place to grab lunch if you worked in the area to have something other than a cold sandwich or something. The food is always delicious, there's a wide variety of different stuff that's made there fresh and it's all at decent prices. The 3rd is it's a great area!”

“It isn't our default grocery store, and prices don't seem as good as others. I have a harder time finding things here, but it is probably because I only go every few months when they offer a $10 coupon. (But they are unique offering the coupon even though I don't shop there as much - Shaw's has their coupons but only because we shop there all the time)”

Very tight on space ?! This store reminds me of the Market Basket in Stratham except that Stratham is bigger!

“I love it at Village Store because they have very rare items that no one else carries. Like diet coke...chips. and even gum! I was floored by the huge selection of cigarettes. Like 5 brands! You won't find that just anywhere!”
“Nice sized store, not too big or small. This makes shopping a lot easier. I'm old fashioned but decided to go against my stubbornness and tried the hannaford to go, now I'm hooked. Very convenient and reasonably affordable. Clean store and friendly employees.”

“I like their stations. I hate the way that they set up their entry and exits to their gas stations. All of them are atrocious. They need to devise a better way of getting people in and out and stop blocking parts of their parking lots. That is ridiculous. I am a frequent patron, so this is quite annoying.”

“I stopped in for maple sugar weekend in mid-March and had a nice visit. There is adequate parking along the main road. They have a room where you can observe the making of the maple syrup. They have a variety of maple sugar treats and gifts available, as well. Staff was friendly and pleasant and helpful. No dogs are allowed inside the showroom. Restroom available. No charge for admission.”

“Went there on a mission 6/5 to find imported feta! If anyone knows Feta isn’t the same unless it’s imported. You just cannot buy any feta and think making a Greek dish will taste right that is just incorrect and wrong! It’s all about the correct brine and feta! When I told him what I was looking for he went out back grabbed his big tin and brought it out and had me try it first to make sure it was exactly what I was looking for before I made the purchase. You all it was PERFECT! I am so happy that I have something so close to home that has what I am looking for when I am in need. Price is reasonable and not to mention they have fresh philo as well.Thank You South St you will now forever have my business.”

“This is my local DG, so i'm in here quite a bit, definitely a couple times a week, for the last 2/3 years. The staff is always friendly, & I have plenty of nice lil chats with them. Just last night the man at the register was very kind, I'll have to get his name next time I see him. I see Jess the most, with her elf ears, & she has honestly become such a staple to me. It would be weird to visit this location & not see her! The store itself is pretty kept in order, especially compared to other DG locations that I have visited. You're not trying to make your way around several carts, or stacked boxes of product, the shelves are always organized, & when there is a cart to be put away, there is always a staff member working on it. Definitely my preffered DG location!”
“I have to change this review due to the fact I'm addicted to the chicken.... The employees are great people and are very friendly as well. The manager is excellent at his job. He goes out of his way to be pleasant and personal. Also, the kid who cooks the chicken is awesome as well. I've been going there for months now, twice a week to buy lunch. The owner has since grown on me and I've forgiven him for his transgressions of being cheap. For those following reasons, the review and score have been changed in a positive way.”
“These guys here are life savers.
I had purchased tires last month from another BJ's and on my way up north I had an unexpected flat. After a kind man put air in my tire he told me to have it fixed asap. After no one could help me I called Michelin customer service had me visit 5 different stores in Laconia that are supposed to honor their products. Well after going to all those places and been denied service, I finally came to BJ's in Tilton and received an amazing service. Even when the tire I needed wasn't available, they made sure I can get to my destination and back safely. The next day tire was changed and service Michelin talked about was honored.
These guys are amazing and I would always give them my service.

Regarding the delivery service ,I can not say enough about the drivers exceptional kindness and personal interaction. It has been positive and most reliable and a pleasant experience.”
“I left my wallet in the cart and went home. I later realized what I had done but the store was closed and I could not speak to anyone. The next day the manager and one of the employees found my wallet. EVERYTHING was in my wallet. I was so happy and grateful that there are honest people in the world. “Not a big fan of " pay-to-shop" type of stores. But we're giving BJ's a try. One thing is that alot of the food products are in such a large amount that it is hard to store the items at home. Sometimes the cheese is so big it won't fit in the refrigerator, and you have to make sure you can consume that amount or it goes bad. The other products like clothing and electronics seem to be on point with other stores prices, so no big savings there. Overall not that cheap and in some cases it is more expensive than regular stores...........”
“Very kind, hardworking and always do their best to help. As someone with ADHD and depression I often find myself calling for my medication refills at the last minute. But they’re always very helpful, understanding and fill them right away.
For everyone that’s mad about their pharmacy lunch break. That’s at every single Hannaford pharmacy and is also very common at other pharmacies too. Maybe try.. calling? Idk. It literally says they’re closed for lunch from 2-2:30 every time you call the number ?”

“There is more than meets the eye at this charming country store. Lots of free parking out front. They have a wide variety of freshly prepared foods including baked goods, sandwiches etc. Coolers offer ice cream and beverages and seating is provided. Clean restroom available. Local arts displays on the walls make this a true community center. The staff is friendly and helpful and they offer some weekly specials ( check their website for example, Pizza nights.)”
