“Excellent local butcher with a variety of steak tip, marinated por and chicken. They have different salads, a rack of spice blends and fresh breads.
Service is excellent, and they have a frequent buyer discount card as well.
Prices are good, lower than some other butchers in the area.”
“I went to Mr. Steer today to get a prime rib cut that I received from my company, which usually always buys from Mr. Steer. This time they had switched suppliers and didn’t inform anyone, so the prime rib I brought in wasn’t their product. The owner willingly cut it into steaks for me at no charge. I truly appreciated their generosity and felt bad that it wasn’t originally purchased there. I will definitely be going back there for my next select cuts.”

“Nice little country store. I’ve stopped here a few times on the way home from work. Last night I purchased some quick pic lottery tickets for Powerball and mega millions. The girl behind the counter, whose name was Haley(sp), made a slight mistake that I didn’t catch. As I was walking to my car, she came running out, in the cold, with my change, which was $8. I think that honesty and dedication needed to be recognized. I hope the owners read this. It was a refreshing surprise to have somebody that was honest. I never would’ve noticed that there was a discrepancy from what I purchased. Good job Haley(sp).”
